I don't know if this has been discussed, but why doesnt the game have name brand gear? Cleats, gloves, batting gloves, new era hats etc. they gave you the option of wearing the mike undershirt, so they must be able to do it. What's the deal here? NBA 2k has every brand and every piece of gear you can think of. I love this game, but I just have always wondered why

Anyways it is Money, more specifically apparently Games have to pay for each set of equipment. So for Nike while they have the pro combat shirts (thank god) is SCEA wants to use it on cleats they have to pay more, if they want specific batting gloves, they have to pay more etc...

It's not that SCEA doesn't want to spend money. They don't have a big budget like other games do.

Yeah it's been brought up in the forums numerous times over the years. Some people believe it and others don't, but it is what it is. Everything has a cost and equipment is no exception.

There's has to be more to it then just money, I mean if they got two manufacturers and just added cleats and gloves or whateva, your saying it's to much money to get them I'm sure your close to the answer but there has to be more to the story.

It's a video game with a highly anticipated release. EVERYTHING has been ridiculously over talked about.

Apparently not enough, because I still see people talking about it ITT.

I do apologize, I did use the search function, but I wasn't getting the results I wanted. I simply asked a question, and it was answered. Get over yourself dude.
