    Cycling Help Text
    ... What?

So like... there will be help text on a bicycle?
Or will The Show help us with our cycling?

No but really I have no idea what I'm supposed to be getting out of that phrase.

my guess is maybe it's the helpful hints or game tips or whatever its called that appears while the game is loading.

Nothing really ground breaking for me and if it wasnt for quick count I would just stick with MLB 13 as it seems nothing was done to create realistic dynamic weather situations that change throughout the game especially in Post Season Mode as no rain in Fall is just very unrealistic and no retractable roofs either

I really wanted a reason to get the ps4 for mlb 14 but nothing on the fact sheet has changed my mind and the 6 games I do play are on the PS3 only and Stick of truth and Fifa 14 WC are ps3 only too so I dont see buying one till the 2015 -16 unless Batman Arkham Knight comes out on the PS4 in October of this year as hinted .

The fact list looks good, especially all the new animations! I'm hoping for more plays at the wall animations like rolling against the wall when running down a ball at full speed, or how about the famous Bo Jacksons running on the wall all matrix style, lol. Okay the Bojackson was a joke but would be kind of cool as a little easter egg of some sort. Can't wait for may.

After reading through the fact sheet again this part jumped out at me

"Community Challenges (PS3 & PS4) - Players will be able to freely toy and tinker with game situations and scenarios on the fly, whether that’s the inning, score, who’s on base, or where the ball is hit. These custom situations can be bundled with a creative set of goals and put forth as a challenge to the community, whether it’s to relive the past, change history, or dream of new possibilities."

I wonder if it's possible to create the chance to rob homeruns or make diving catches in the outfield. I'm terrible at this and maybe this can give us the opportunity to practice. Also I wonder if you can use the player lock feature in this to be able to field from the RTTS mechanic.

              Yes...it is.
It's one of the scenarios we created and tried.

              It's a really nice addition.

Dynamic difficulty is a thing I am very interested in. Madden tried to do it a few years ago with a little success. I'm curious as to whether this is their answer to sliders.

No that's not what Community Challenges is about. Which is fine because we haven't explained it or shown it to you in a dev blog yet.

                        online is ruining sports games.
they would be so much better if online would just go away and they were only developed for games against the cpu only.
so much more would get added and gameplay would be flawless by now.
not just mlb but moreso the nhl series

Dang it, with fans being able to catch foul balls I was imaging recreating game 6 of the 03 NLCS. Does Bartman catch it or does Alou? Oh well.

Thanks for responding Russell. Looking forward to those dev blogs!

I think he meant the player lock part.

Kind of a naive statement splitter.
