Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I threw Jonathan Schoop to the fire and he's just not producing for me so far in 20 games. I'm pretty sure he's under .200 batting right now with 1 HR and very limited RBI production (<5). He is drawing walks well and his defense is lights out (auto-fielding).
I have Lombardozzi on the bench who tears it up when he gets in and is near .400 batting.
My bullpen is atrocious right now and I would love a power arm 95+ MPH in there for the late innings and possibly take over for Tommy Hunter who has already blown 2-3 saves.
Schoop for a power arm work?

Cliff Lee (2.04 ERA) to the Boston Red Sox for: Jackie Bradley Jr, Anthony Ranaudo, and Garin Cecchini.
Am I asking too much for Lee, who has been the best pitcher in baseball this year?Writer for Operation Sports

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Abandoned my Indians franchise and am starting with the Mets. Going to look to make them a contender for next year, or possibly even this year.
First step is to move a couple of these prized pitching prospects for a star that could be on the move in real life. First guy that came to mind was David Price for Syndergaard and (fill in with who else I should throw in). A rotation of Harvey, Price, Wheeler and anyone else left after the trade would be filthy.
Any other pretty big name guys rumored to be on the move this year in real life? Doesn't have to be a pitcher, would be cool with a hitter also.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You could get more, or just more value. Webster, Bradley, Betts, and a minor piece with that maybe Ranaudo? Betts irl is tearing it up so might be a tad unrealistic but i personally would pull the trigger on this.Come hang with me on YouTube! Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So I officially pulled a much needed fire sale with my Phillies:
Chase Utley for Alex Reyes (A potential, SP)
Jonathan Papelbon for Tyrone Taylor (B potential, CF) and K-Rod
Cliff Lee + Ben Revere for Cenchenni, Ranaudo, and Bradley Jr.
The cool thing is, all of those trades were basically offered to me by the CPU. It was nice not having to search all over the place for a fair trade both ways haha.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So, I need a decent, cheap shortstop. In my Astros franchise, Villar and Gonzalez are absolutely killing me. Both are hitting sub-200. I need someone to fill in while I wait for Correa to improve.
Any suggestions? They don't have to be young. Just someone I can depend on.
If I could get one by moving Dallas Keuchel and L.J. Hoes, I would be ecstatic.Comment

Schoop holds much more trade value than for a back of the bullpen power arm (unless you're talking Holland/Kimbrel/Rosenthal/Chapman)
I'd focus on Kelvin Herrera of the Royals. The budget option is Henry Rodriguez of the Marlins. The prospect option is Domingo Tapia of the Mets.Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
To Seattle for a package based around Franklin would be pretty solid return and a realistic deal considering the moves that Seattle has recently made. I prefer him in the AL.
To the Meta for a package based around Flores would be good as well. If you want MLB ready you could get MurphyComment
