that doesn't NECESSARILY have to be *the* deal....that's just a package that I came up with (from the Marlins POV) to ensure that you don't give your entire farm away but also having it fill holes for Miami.....as stated before, Franco can always slide over to 1st immediately, Pederson would be the heir apparent to replace G-Lo, although Seager is already a big guy, MAYBE he can shift to 2B?, Crawford can possibly take Hech's job if he cant hit his way out of a paper bag and Urias is Urias

I think Franco and Urias will definitely have to be in the deal... I don't mind including Seager and Crawford either. My only problem is Pederson haha.. but like you said he'd be the one to replace Giancarlo. I should've kept Brown and used him in this deal to replace go instead of Pederson... Oh well.
Maybe another B one or two b prospects from my draft class or something like that. I'll have to figure some things out.Phillies | A's | Michigan State | Browns | Chelsea FC | BruinsComment

agreed that Urias and Franco are must-haves in the deal...I mean, the Marlins do have another OF prospect in Marisnick in the minors but I wasn't totally enamored with the other *B* prospects you listed yesterday so it'd be kinda tough to substitute Pederson at this point imo
I do have another A prospect from my draft class last year and two high b's as well. Maybe I could wait until they're tradeable and then use them as a "Player to be named later" in the deal. What do you think about that idea?Phillies | A's | Michigan State | Browns | Chelsea FC | BruinsComment

I agree that the other B prospects aren't enough.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys, need to trade Lind and Rasmus. Lind could be a good fit for the Brewers, Athletics, Pirates, Rangers, and Mariners, whereas Rasmus could fit on the Diamondbacks, Phillies, White Sox, Reds, Mariners, Rangers, and Giants. Maybe the Brewers too. I'm looking for a younger, more controllable centerfielder in return and a starting pitcher as well. Maybe a young catching prospect. Would be open to three team deals. I have to leave for school now but off the top of my head, here are guys from the teams listed that I like:
Brewers: Gallardo
Athletics: Reddick, Straily, Gray, Cespedes, Gentry, Norris/Jaso
Pirates: Polanco, Morton, Martin
Rangers: Martin, Alfaro
Mariners: Zunino, Paxton, Saunders
Diamondbacks: Miley, McCarthy, Parra, Prado
Phillies: Revere, Lee, Hamels, Crawford
White Sox: De Aza, Quintana
Reds: Leake, Cueto, Latos, Cingrani
Giants: Pagan, Brown, Cain
Bit of a tough fit. My favorite SP options are Miley and Masterson, and my favorite CF option is probably Greg Polanco but I know that may not go well for me lol. I like J.P. Crawford too even though he's not quite what I'm looking for, but I think he's gonna turn out really well. My favorite overall combination is the Mariners with Zunino (high B), Paxton (high B), Saunders (dunno but not very valuable but eh). I'd love to acquire Zunino, as he's my favorite player on the entire list. I really like the D-Backs' players too though. I'll think of a 3 team deal later. Thanks for the help in advance.
AC just spitballing here but have you considered the Royals as a landing spot for Rasmus? I think they consider CF a hole at this stage. I also think the Rangers would prefer Martin in center over giving up Arfalo but thats just my opinion.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Cubs trade: Samardzija and Barney
Blue Jays trade: Sanchez, DJ Davis, Tirado
I would think the Cubs would want a little bit more than Sanchez for Samardzija straight up. Maybe Sanchez plus DJ Davis if you don't want Barney or don't want to give up Tirado.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
how do you feel about Jed Lowrie? Asdrubal Cabrera? Erick Aybar? Nick Franklin? Ruben Tejada? Jimmy Rollins for a year maybe? Everth Cabrera? one of Arizona's SS's?Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Lowrie would be a stop gap for a year or 2.
Cabrera is certainly interesting, but in years past could not come up with something fair(thoughts?)
No to Aybar
Nick Franklin is intriguing. (thoughts?)
No to Tejada
No to J Ro
thanks for the suggestions!Comment

Ben Revere is a good CF also and is decently young. Hedges from the Padres can be had since they have Grandal
