I wouldn't give up Syndergaard for Odorizzi and Jennings... I think you're trade is alright for Jennings and Price. It's tough to give up much more than that really. It's pretty fair IMO.

Much more realistic to go after Price than Matt Moore right?

I would take Cashner off the block. He's a burgeoning superstar, so you'll want to keep him. Maybe put Luebke on the block instead.

I manually injured all this year's Tommy John pitchers, so I don't have the ability to move Luebke or Johnson...

Will def remove Cashner tho...

Huston Street is supposed to be a big name come trading time as well as his contract is up and idk if the Padres will take the option for 2015.

Hundley is rumored to be in a deal for Moreland so Hundley plus maybe someone like Seth Smith could snag Moreland.

I personally don't like Hedges since he can't hit for **** and Grandal is a good hitter. I am trying to ship hedges out of here.

Street is an interesting option, because Quakenbush is currently ripping it up for me in AAA and could take that role going forward...

I'll take a look at Moreland...what's interesting is that Hundley has been hitting great for the first 40 games...around .285 / some power...in the short term is actually out hitting Grandal...

Moreland seems like a short term filler for Medica, right?

I REALLY like your Altue idea...although I'm not sure how well I'll hit with a 5'5 guy!

That + could be Eric Stults or Casey Kelly. But wow, this is like, a perfect fit.

I was wondering if Stults was worth much, since I can't trade:

Luebke (INJ)
Johnson (not realistic and INJ)
Roach (INJ)
Cashner (Franchise guy)
Erlin (Personal bias)

Which leaves:

Stults
Ross
Kennedy
Kelly

As starters I can possibly make deals with...

Is that accurate?

Moreland would be a filler for Medica? In what way? For me he would be a outfielder until someone young comes up. Altuve is pretty nice. Him, Cabrera, and Venable/Maybin give a lot of speed. I traded for Siegrist from STL who's only 24 so he's my closer of the future. Torres, Quackenbush, Vincent, and maybe if I get this trade Stilson from Toronto give me a really solid Bullpen.

No on Kennedy. The Padres just traded for him plus he's a solid starter who eats up innings.

Since he's a lefty you can't platoon him with Alonso (who's been solid for me), so he seems lineup "redundant" as opposed to Medica, who plays 1st / OF and hits righty...

So, not "filler" as much as redundant?

I'd also like to go "younger" than Moreland, if possible...

I have to fire up the game and really look at these guys to gauge how they'd fit or not...

What's a fair trade for Yoenis Cespedes? I'm 13 games into a franchise with the A's and he is slumping big time. I cannot hit a ball with him to save my life! He's batting .163!

I can't freaking hit with Jose Altuve. Every game I played in my 2014 season and now my 2015 season (only 7 games in), he has been abysmal.

I'm going to stick with him for a little while, see if he can turn it around, but I still want to weigh my options.

Na. Not with Headley. If they trade Headley then they will probably move Gyorko to third. Alonso will play LF before he plays 3B. He has only played 11 innings at 3B in his career.

But you're right with the versatility. A lot of maneuverability which helps when trying to get certain guys at bats.

As far as Hedges goes, I feel like his fielding potential is wasted at catcher and Grandal may not be the best fielding catcher but his is above average. I would rather use Hedges at 3B/1B.

I'm the Padres and I just traded for Altuve. If you have 30 team control or do a 3 team trade so they can trade Headley and move Gyorko to 3B Altuve fits fine.

I love him, I'm hitting .314 with him
