Didi Gregorious is almost certainly available if you like his glove and want to keep Lowrie at 2nd. Don't move Donaldson to first, by the way. It'd sap a ton of his value. If you want a slugging 1B, go for Pablo Sandoval from across the bay, you could probably assemble a package around Jarrod Parker for him. If the Phillies are out of it, Chase Utley is a great option. Brian Dozier is a sneaky good 2B option. Howie Kendrick could probably be acquired for Jarrod Parker as well. Asdrubal Cabrera could be acquired for something like A.J. Griffin.

Of course, you could also pick up Stephen Drew from the FA list.
All of that sounds very good. I'm a big fan of Gregorius in-game, and I noticed Dozier as a threat when I played the series @ MIN. I'm surprised to hear that Cabrera could be had for a guy like Griffin; I'd do that one in a heartbeat.

I just don't know how the real A's win so many games with some of these guys in the lineup, lol. For me it's like I have to pull a magic trick every game to score runs.

While I have a thing for young pitching, it feels like the balance is way far over on that side with the current roster, and like I could probably make it without at least one of my top 5 starters.

Murphy's Law will probably dictate that I move a SP and then 2 get injured and I'm screwed, lol.

AJ Griffin to NYM for Ike Davis (or Daniel Murphy). Maybe Parker for both of them. Just throwing out scenarios here.
if the A's were ever approached with Milone for A-Ram, I'd be happy from now till 2020...unfortunately like AC said, that's nowhere near fair....Cubs don't need a veteran reliever

trust me, I scratch my head when it comes to some of those names being put in the lineup too...but it's mostly pitching that wins us games..and yes keep J-Don at 3B...being a 110% totally biased A's fan, give up AJ if u have to but I'd keep Jarrod if I could help it

I feel like the A's are best off just throwing away offense and going for an elite defensive player at every position and a ton of young pitching anyways. They're not gonna score in that park period, so embrace it rather than going uphill. Go for, like, Clint Barmes at SS, stuff like that.

Now if you'll excuse me boys, my Raptors are off to teach the dinosaurs from 37's city that tanking for matchups is the worst decision they've made since not trading for Lowry.

we have so many liabilities in the lineup that we need all the bats we can get imo so no Clint Barmes!....EVER..and GO RAPS........dinosaurs need to be extinct

Need some tips for my Cardinals chise. I want to add a middle reliever to my pen and rid myself of older talent that wont get much playing time. Id like to get rid of Jaime Garcia first and foremost. I could also deal Motte as a closer to a team in need. Who could I potentially ship these guys to? And what could I get in return? Id like to get a solid MRP and some sort of prospect in return.

And do you guys use force trades in order to pull these OS trades off? Or try to combine real life logic with the parameters the game gives you?

I would think Jaime could net you more than just a relief arm. Relievers have significantly lower value and many are realistic. Think of any bullpen guys that interest you and we can work with that by adding prospects. There are just so many relievers that this is probably the best way to do this.

As for trades, I use force trades and I believe many others here do as well. But I never cheat the CPU by doing something ridiculous.

Myself and many others use 30 team control in order to be able to scan through and reject potential bad deals proposed amongst the CPU teams

Sorry that's what I meant. It's practically force trades if you have instant trades turned off. My bad.

New show player here. Currently playing The Show 13 with end of 2013 updated rosters with all prospects. I started a Rays franchise and I'm wondering about trading price before the deadline, preferably for a power bat. Anyone have any suggestions?

Looking for a power bat, LF, SS, 2B, C, or a starting pitcher. Also, relatively new to baseball trades so I'm not sure what type of value I should be looking for, or if I should be looking for prospects or big leaguers.

What teams are out of contention around the deadline and could be looking to sell? Based on that, we could give you some input.

Would you be willing to part with any high level prospects?

Well, I haven't reached the trade deadline yet. I've actually only just started my franchise, so I'm looking for potential deals for Price since there's almost no way I'll be able to keep him after the year.

As far as giving up prospects, I'd rather not since that's not really what Tampa does. However, I'd be willing to part with my big leaguers, like Yunel Escobar, Ben Zobrist, or pretty much anyone other than Longoria, Myers, or Jennings.

I'm not too particular on which reliever I want. I moreso want a nice prospect and a guy who can just eat innings when I need him to.

Would a average reliever (65-75 OVR, B/C POT) and a prospect (40-55 OVR, B POT) sound fair for Jaime?

This will be for the PS4. I am going to do a Tampa Bay Rays Franchise. I want to try and make a trade for Matt Kemp. I would like to keep David Price if possible so what are my options if any? Thanks
