Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Who is the most likely to be included in a package for a front line starter in Texas if they were contending?
Profar, Sardinas, Odor, or Andrus? Thinking about possibly trading Hamels to Texas.Phillies | A's | Michigan State | Browns | Chelsea FC | BruinsComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Going from likely to unlikely, I'd put them:
1. Sardinas
2. Odor
3. Profar
4. Andrus
Andrus is cost controllable under his extension and a proven commodity. Profar needs to be kept for him to rebuild his stock after the injury plagued 2014. He can then be moved for a big bat. When talking about making a deal for 'just a pitcher', I'd say Sardinas over OdorFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Odor or Sardinas, I'd think.
If they were contending, they'd probably be getting contributions from Profar and Andrus, and neither Odor or Sardinas would really be playing much.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hi there, I am in the 2014-15 offseason with the Brewers. I would like to trade Ryan Braun. I was wondering what I could get for him? Looking for pitching and/or batting. Not really picky. Just want to unload some money. Braun's #s we're pretty good. Thanks for the help.Green Bay Packers

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Their outfield got pretty beat up for injuries last season.
CF is Jon Jay, .231/6/17 in 260 AB
LF is Taveras, .266/16/46 in 308 AB
CF Randal Grichuk got a lot of that fill-in time, but struggled, .215/7/29 in 265 AB. Looks like he should do more, but probably will struggle vs RHP. This year, he's platooning with Jay in CF vs LHP.
CF Peter Bourjous took a lot of those lost ABs as well, putting up .276/2/24 in 251 AB. Probably played like a typical speed-and-defense CF. Riding the pine so far this year.
Piscotty is developing. Only had a cup of coffee last year and not getting much time so far this year. Made AAA All-Star team last year."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Two questions. I'm at opening day of 2015 of a Mariners franchise.
I have two problems:
Problem 1 - the Cubs have too much on their roster.
Here's their lineup:
1. Alcantara CF
2. Castro SS
3. Rizzo 1B
4. Bryant RF
5. Baez 2B
6. Olt 3B
7. Castillo C
8. Lake LF
9. Pitcher
They have Russell and Soler in the minors. Do you guys know of any teams who would be interested in Baez, Castro, Oly, or maybe even Bryant?
Problem 2:
The dodgers lineup is like so:
1. Gordon 2B
2. Crawford LF
3. Puig CF (should he be in RF?)
4. A-Gon 1B
5. Ramierez SS
6. Kemp RF (should he be in CF?)
7. Ellis C
8. Uribe 3B
9. Pitcher
They currently have Ande Eithker and Joc Peterson on the bench. Any idea on who would want Kemp, Crawford, or Eithier?
I can post stats for whoever needs them.Last edited by HadlerT; 08-15-2014, 05:33 PM.Seattle Mariners|Seattle Seahawks
