Any other teams you'd recommend looking into moving Masterson and/or Cabrera?

What you think of moving him to 3B to clear room for Lindor?

It's your franchise, you can move whoever to whatever position. Realism is good for trades and such but you gotta have some leniency when it comes to running your team your way.

You can't say well I will never move any players around or sign unrealistic free agents when the year is over. I won't fire my coaches and I won't change the lineup. Haha. At least that's my way of looking at it. Realism is good for trades, but seriously it's your franchise, run it how you want.

I've done franchises where I've moved SS's and 2B's to OF and SP to RP and vice versa.

I wouldn't move Asdrubal to 3B though. I'd just move him. I don't think the Crick/Masterson deal is too bad though. But I'll wait to see the contenders list.

So I just started a franchise, no forced trades, and every single trade I propose is rejected on the basis of money (one or both can't take on salary) or that it doesn't fit my team's current mode (rebuilding / win-now, etc.).

I'm using Boston, and I've even tried trading away super cheap highly rated prospects for garbage and I can't get them through. Did I overlook something here? Are you blocked from making trades for a certain period of time (I tried before, during, and after spring training of Season 1).

Any help? Ideas?

Yeah, but I even did stuff like offer Allen Webster for a bag of balls and got rejected. That's a trade 100% of teams would take in real life.

I want to begin a franchise with the Mets. Does anyone know anything about the Mets? I want to use them and essentially make some moves to set the team up for years to come. As an A's fan I don't know where to begin though. Who should I trade or call up/send down? Thanks for any help.

Masterson fits with most contenders. He's a rental so youre probably not looking at a huge haul but any contender that he would (ratings wise) be in the top three of the rotation is probably a good candidate. If you give some standings I probably could be more specific.



As for Cabrera, I would definitely trade him. He is also a rental and depending how he is performing a contender who needs middle infield help could really use him. Again a set of standings would really help here

My friend and i just started a 2 player online franchise and hes the yankees, he hates pitching with CC and would like to get rid of him for some prospects and or major league ready talent at the begining of the season. Any ideas?

Hmm so perhaps just stick with what the Mets already have? I was hoping for a longer rebuild.... What in your opinion are they the weakest at? I suppose ill work on adjusting that.

Their bullpen is a pretty weak point right now, as is SS.

I would try and trade Asdrubal Cabrera to the Mets since they're only 3.5 back. He'd be a big upgrade over Tejada.

I just wouldn't expect a large haul... Maybe Mejia and another mid level prospect back for a one year rental.

What do you think about Masterson to the Orioles? They're not out of the division race by any means and are only 1 out of the wild card. Could go with him and maybe some other guys (maybe even Cabrera and switch him to 2B on their roster) for Bundy or Gausman?

Looking for a backup catcher/ pinch hitter upgrade over Tony Cruz for the Cardinals. I'm willing to trade a low B/ High C or two like LHP Tim Cooney, OF James Ramsey, or C/3B Carson Kelly, but no prospect really higher than that. Thanks for the help in advance!
