Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
That's what I'm thinking as well. I think his power would play well in the spacious O.co ColiseumFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Can Alexi play 2B? Thinking of sending him north to Toronto for Buehrle.
If Alexi is kept at 2B, the Mets are a logical fit. Aim for a guy like Dillon Gee in return? Or maybe Daniel Murphy to fill the void at 2B if Beckham moves to SS? (Heard on a podcast that Gee has like a 2.70 ERA or close to it in his last 180 IP. He's good!)
Don't know about Dunn. He's AL bound...I mentioned Oakland for Matt Adams in a previous post. Maybe Dunn could fit in there with Moss at 1B/DH. There's some good pitching to be had from the A's and you might be able to find a good arm here. He's another lefty but Tommy Milone? Jesse Chavez if you want a righty? Apologies for being a bit dry on ideas here. 37 might have some other names up his sleeve.Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

That's the beauty of Lavarnway, he can stop some balls at 1B as well
Matt Adams to Baltimore for Zach Britton/Brian Matusz and Nolan Reimold? Reimold is just a filler for you as a bench bat and backup 1B/LF.
Britton/Matusz can be used in the rotation or from the pen.
Adams would be able to rotate between 1B/DH with the O's along with Chris DavisSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Will have to take a hard look at both Oakland and Baltimore (and other teams as well) once I get a clearer picture of where I sit in the Central as the deadline gets closer. As of right now I'm still in contention, but it's proving really hard to climb above .500. Milwaukee and Cincinnati are close to running away from the rest of the pack.
Thanks for your help!Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I believe that Britton or Matusz could be a solid no 4 or 5 in the Cards rotation. Fill that ever gaping hole Jaime Garcia leaves behind every time he's on the DLFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Alright guys - I'm in mid June and am way off the NL East pace and starting to fall way off the Wildcard pace as well so it's time to think about some deals.
First deal I've talked about before but now it's time to clarify for sure:
Phillies trade:
Cliff Lee
to
Dodgers for:
Joc Pederson, Julio Urias, Corey Seager
I know people have said that would be fair before but I'm just asking again before I finally make the deal. The Dodgers are way up in the NL West, but Dan Haren has a 5.60 ERA. I'd also be willing to add Jimmy Rollins who is having a decent year (.250 6 HR 25 RBI in early June) Hanley is playing great but Uribe is hitting an empty .215. Urias is out for the season, but he's in the long range plans.
If I do that deal I'd look to move Dominic Brown. The Rays have been trying very hard to move Chris Archer but have not gotten a deal worth taking yet from the computer. So I am thinking:
Phillies trade:
Dominic Brown (.301 5 HR 18 RBI) and Sevrino Gonzalez (MID B Triple A SP, 22 years old pitching great at AAA)
to Rays for:
Chris Archer
I'd be happy to take any other Brown trade scenarios if that doesn't seem like a fair deal.Phillies | A's | Michigan State | Browns | Chelsea FC | BruinsComment
