There is a guy on ebay who has copies in stock. I asked if he can overnight it and he said expedited shipping is available, but getting it tomorrow would be 50/50. Definitely by Monday though. Getting it a day early is not worth it to me. Not to mention the overnight cost is $19.95.

I agree with the notion of being optimistic, but GameStop is not the place.

I worked there in my high school days....it is a waste of time to ask. They will never tell you inventory on something that is not released (for security purposes) and they will not break street date (for business and contractual obligations).....period.

Couldn't the same be said, for all big box stores? I know that trying to get anything out of gamestop is like trying to squeeze blood from a rock. I generally hate purchasing from them, but unfortunately got suckered into taking out one of those points memberships (long story).

The wait for Tuesday is almost over, and once the game is out, the pain from waiting will melt away. I just hope that next year, it is a uniform release. This one is a mess.

are you going to offer an employee another job? if not, you are wasting your time and bothering them.

Just for the record, I didnt call and threaten them, or ask them to do anything illegal. I merely asked if they had the game and was it able to be picked up. No game is worth someone losing there job, or paying above and beyond just to get it.

Considering it's coming from Flushing, NY I would think PA has a good chance of getting it tomorrow, but I'm afraid to make the purchase incase it doesn't. Then I'm paying $80 for a game a day early if it shows up on Monday.

Sadly... there's not a single person in retail dying to sell the game, or any game for that matter. No pressure for them. They get to see it everyday, and maybe the staff have early access. Only us consumers are seen as the ones with "issues", for wanting to buy it early.
