Re: Does Anyone else out there just Pitch, and never Hit ?
I owned every MLB the show game until after 09 when I got a 360 and stopped using my ps2 and I missed it dearly. Very excited to have my PS4 back now and get the show. When I played the show before, I almost exclusively pitched. I don't know what it is, but pitching has always been significantly more appealing to me than hitting, especially in real life.
On a side note, do you guys prefer pitching from broadcast view or catcher view? I've always found catcher view easer because bigger strike zone on the screen=better pitch location for meComment

I find that's about all I can do "well enough"...
Seems that when the ball goes into play, I'm (temporarily) mentally toasted from either side of the pitcher / hitter cat and mouse-ness of it all!

Love to hit (analog), love to field, and love baserunning.
I like pitching to but I prefer to close over starting. Pitching 6-7-8 innings seem like a chore to me.Favorites:

My first love was fielding too and it stayed that way until I got tired of it by about high school. Then my biggest baseball dream came true in my SR year of college.
I became a full-time DH.
Greatest baseball season of my life. I felt like Edgar Martinez. All I did was rake.
Awesome.
The funniest thing is that I was never a pitcher (well I was for one season, but i was pretty awful. Actually hit the same guy twice in the same inning, if that tells you anything), but I enjoy pitching a lot in video games.
OK......Either you pitched the order in one inning or (best case) you hit the batter, then hit him again on first (for not getting out of the way??) <--- Does he then go to 2nd?____________________________________________

If you allow the first 9 batters to get to base I bet you'll be done for the day, if not lower manager hook :-)____________________________________________

The starter I did enjoy was when be was a knuckle-baller. Hitters look silly when I throw that up there..61MPH it was awesome.Favorites:
