How bout you Kehlis, do you just Pitch ?
    In college I did

I got recruited to play both outfield and pitch but ended up just being good enough to pitch only.

In the show I do it all.

I owned every MLB the show game until after 09 when I got a 360 and stopped using my ps2 and I missed it dearly. Very excited to have my PS4 back now and get the show. When I played the show before, I almost exclusively pitched. I don't know what it is, but pitching has always been significantly more appealing to me than hitting, especially in real life.

On a side note, do you guys prefer pitching from broadcast view or catcher view? I've always found catcher view easer because bigger strike zone on the screen=better pitch location for me

When just pitching you still have to field, right? I'll be 72 on August 2nd and running to cover first base is not something I want to do. Even going after bunts is dangerous at my age.

I (Classic) pitch and (Zone) hit, but use auto fielding and baserunning...

I find that's about all I can do "well enough"...

Seems that when the ball goes into play, I'm (temporarily) mentally toasted from either side of the pitcher / hitter cat and mouse-ness of it all!

I try broadcast for pitching every year, but always end up going back to catcher view (in my case, catcher classic 2). Better visually for me -- plus when the game got serious about adding clouds, brilliant sunsets and other background visuals, I just love to see the sky transition during night games.

Love to hit (analog), love to field, and love baserunning.

I like pitching to but I prefer to close over starting. Pitching 6-7-8 innings seem like a chore to me.

                    Awesome.

The funniest thing is that I was never a pitcher (well I was for one season, but i was pretty awful. Actually hit the same guy twice in the same inning, if that tells you anything), but I enjoy pitching a lot in video games.

OK......Either you pitched the order in one inning or (best case) you hit the batter, then hit him again on first (for not getting out of the way??) <--- Does he then go to 2nd?

If you allow the first 9 batters to get to base I bet you'll be done for the day, if not lower manager hook :-)

There were times when I just throw a easy pitch over the plate hoping he'd hit it right at the fielder for a quicker inning..

The starter I did enjoy was when be was a knuckle-baller. Hitters look silly when I throw that up there..61MPH it was awesome.
