I've actually had a bug that says that my pitcher was injured...."it looks bad"....and such and when I hit X to get off the injury report screen...my pitcher is on the mound and fine!(thankfully!)

That kind of reminds me of the time my fiancé called me telling me she had been in a car accident.

My heart leaped into my throat and then she said, "Hey...April Fools!"

After yelling at her and telling her I'd leave if she ever did that again, I sorta did feel relieved after realizing it was all a prank.

It kind of puts things in perspective.

It's bugs like these that make you yell at, loathe, threaten to leave, and then ultimately love Jon Niese more!

Does anyone know if it's possible from a programming perspective to implement a way for the user to veto/allow trades in Franchise mode for the CPU? I know we have 30-team control, but wouldn't it just be easier to implement something like that in order to fix the stupid trade logic?

Has anyone else thought of this method or no? I searched, but found nothing of this sort.

SCEA could solve a huge problem by just implementing this option in next year's game.

Man...you probably wanted to strangle her.

Kind of the opposite...but several years ago at work....I wound up working in a different firehouse from mine for the day....in Staten Island. I had talked to my wife early in the day...so she knew I was working in a different location.

We wound up going to a job...pretty bad....and I wound up caught in a collapse and burned pretty good.
My wife called my firehouse...and the guys knew about the job ...and that there were injuries...but not the extent....they kind of stonewalled my wife...(not really knowing what to say)....she had seen the news and it was on there...so she's thinking I'm dead and they don't want to tell her.
She's screaming at them...and when I finally get settled in the Burn Center.....I call her.
Holy Moly.....what an earful I got for not getting in touch earlier!!!!
Then she calmed down and was bawling like a baby.

It was one of the few times during a 'non-argument' that I just completely went off on her. She didn't realize until after how un-funny the whole thing was but she sure does now.

Your wife is a real hero too, Knight.

For all the times she tells you she's worried, I'm sure she feels it and wonders more often than anyone can know.

Bet you never made the 'not-calling' mistake again! Not unless you like sleeping on the couch with the dog!

              Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)

The CPU just hit what might have been a HR.

Brett Gardner leaps to rob it and the second it gets near his glove...

An error occurs. The game crashes to a blue error message screen. I get some "suggested actions," and BAM! The application closes and I'm on the dashboard.

This is the first time I've ever had this happen to me on PS4. Should I be worried?

Don't worry. When I first got the show this happened to me a couple times.. I was panicking but it hasn't happened since and unless it keeps occurring (a week or so) you should have no reason to be worried

They definitely could but The Show has there own stupid trade logic and if you want to control the trades do 30 teams... they have much more important things then to put in a veto system to pretty much prevent EVERY SINGLE trade from going through... just use 30 team and do realistic trades... not that hard.

are you able to use roster updates on a franchise you've already started? For example I'm playing a franchise with the Tigers, can the recent roster update be applied to reflect their current roster?

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

very much so and I set it lower for simmed games (two slider sets)

You think these companies will ever allow it. I mean just put it in as an option you can turn on or off. Doesnt seem like it would be that hard.

I would think it would screw up the existing franchise, such as trades, injuries, call ups/send downs.

Unless there is an option they put in the game where none of this happens and the rosters update daily, which I don't see happening.

only be worried, if you play online as that is where this occurs the most. However its a PS4 software issues and not specific to MLBTS
