They are pretty static so it's not like the fly overs of the bigger stadiums in FIFA.

Yes they are using real photographs. Obviously it'd be great to see those be in game models, but until games get to looking that good I think it's a good design choice.

I haven't been following, whats been cut out?

Well we thought fly ins were cut last mintue but from the two pics above looks like some resemblence of those there .. There are jus hundred instead of 1000 diff crowd models and this was never annouced but would have loved to have seen new player models and signature style ways of catching throwing and running so that we would be able to tell a dofference from a star player compared to a minor leaguer ..

They are real photos. Not made up ones. They have the real photos in the game. Just like a player portrait.

Im with you there and I believe the real fly ins got cut.. Was worried they did when we had no video or mention of them in any preview builds ..

Well, it would appear that the PS4 version of the show was not the upgrade I was hoping for. That said, I'm glad there don't appear to be many issues outside of bad load times - which isn't a huge deal to me. That said, I still have some questions for those who have the game:

1. How noticeable are the new animations? My biggest issue with the PS3 games is that the game has basically looked the same for the last five years. Seeing the same ten or so fielding animations, catch animations, swing animations, and running animations has really tampered with my enjoyment of the game. After all this talk from SCEA about how they had been limited by the space left on the PS3 versions of the game, I thought that may have been the reason for a lack of upgrades in this department. Do the animations they added make a real difference?

2. When a player catches the ball, does the glove clasp around it or does it remain wide open with the ball inside?

3. Where would you rank the this version of the game, in terms of looks, with other next generation sports titles?

4. Does the game feel like a noticeably different experience than MLB '13?
