All this time I have played The Show, I thought Season mode was just one season. What are the main differences between Season mode and Franchise mode?

I am thinking about rolling with a team with a great ballpark and doing a fantasy draft and then creating myself. I just wish we could set the draft order in fantasy draft. It's so weird with all the options we have, that's one we do not.

Does anyone know why my ps4 gets a bit louder than normal while playing in game? The ps4 is brand new I purchased it the day The Show came out, thanks in advance for any replies.

I haven't played The Show since 2009. How often does MLB The Show get new patches?

Just curious. I'm kinda getting tired of adjusting the camera every time I turn it on. Such a great game though!

why dont we have the ability to adjust the uniforms of your CPU opponent in offline games? seems like a harmless thing to have in. When Im wearing throwbacks I like my opponent to also have on throwbacks to match the occasion, for example. Why do we always have to play against greys or whites..

You do. Move your controller over to the CPU side and pick their uniform, then hit the circle button to back out. It will retain what you chose.

You can change the uniform of your opponent in offline games. All you have to do is slide over to your opponent, press the 'X' button, and the uniform table pops up. Pick the uniform you want your opponent to wear, press the 'O' button, and then go back over to your team, pick your uniform, then press 'X' to move forward in the menu.

I know you can do it because I just played a game in my offline Franchise last night. I changed the uniform the game selected for both me (Tampa Bay) and the CPU (Toronto).

Basically it goes like this as far as differences go:

Season Mode is basically a lighter version of Franchise Mode. In Season Mode, you play multiple seasons, but you only deal with the 40-man roster. You can scout, draft, hire, and fire coaches, and you can set the number of games you play each season. Also, in Season Mode, there are no Minor League games.

In Franchise Mode, you do everything in Season Mode plus more. In Franchise mode, there are minor league games and you deal with those rosters. You set training for your players. In Franchise Mode, you can't set the number of games per season though. It's the full 162-game schedule.

I think those are the main differences. I'm sure there's others who can chime in and give some other differences if I've missed them.

Yes, the out-of-town scoreboards work in every stadium.

Ok Samardzija is up to bat in the 9th inning pitching lights BUT from the navigation or quick menus how can I check his in game pitching Stamina and pitches thrown ?

Stamina and confidence you can't check anymore. For some reason it's not in the select/quick menu anymore this year. I asked if they could patch it back in. By pitches thrown do you mean the amount or what type of pitches? The amount you can see in the middle of the scorebug. For the types of pitches thrown go to the select screen and then press R1 I believe.
Pressing L3 before the first pitch gives you the pitches thrown to that specific batter the previous at bat or the at bat itself if you're deeper in the count and want to check what locations you have been pitching him.

Thanks thought I was going crazy , I mean they give us more stats and then take away a basic stat to see his stamina and pitch count when hes at bat ?

Did you dim your light bar on the DS4? I believe that effects vibration.

I hit a Home Run at minute Maid as the Astros in my Franchise...Only my first but the train didnt move..is this a glitch or does it not move all the time. PS4 version I remember it moving on the PS3 thanks for letting me know in advance if you can give me feedback

In my Marlins franchise on the manage roster screen my current roster strategy is listed as "rebuilding". How do I change that to normal?
