Sorry if it has been mentioned but I just had my first video replay by the umps on a home run call. Pretty cool....and they actually got it right.

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
I'm sure these aren't new, but I heard a couple of clever commentary lines.
Mike Trout robbed a home run and Matt said "And Trout is able to reel that one in, if you will."
and
A ball got past Brian McCann and Matt said "And McCann, McCANT get a glove on that one."
Pretty funny.Tell your line to protect on this play. Heck, tell your line to protect on every play; not just here.

I have had a hits that looked like a no doubter until it crossed the foul line. I like how it starts out like a normal no doubter but then your character acts a little upset when it doesn't stay fair. I had my first no doubter in the majors the other day that headed towards the foul line but did stay fair. Funny that the announcers even mentioned how they thought it was going to go foul.Comment

Had that with my Cubs franchise at Wrigley, only Schierholtz missed it the first couple of times he tried to pick it up.Comment

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
I know it's been said before, but I finally got to see it myself. Out of all the shots back off the pitcher, I'd say at least 8-10 in 70 games played, I finally saw the pitcher taken out of the game because of an injury. Granted it was a line drive to the face, but still I never saw a pitcher removed in past TS games.

For me i have seen less pitchers hit this year but i still hate how they field the ball afterwards, need to add a animation where they are down/unable to field.Comment

I'm sure it's not new but in RTTS after sliding into second I got carried off the field..two guys just picked me up. It was AA I guess they don't have stretchers or a cart.

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
This is a little thing that I think a good amount of games would get wrong, 3 way ties at the end of the season.
In my White Sox franchise we were 4 games back with 4 left to play against the division leading Royals and the Indians were 2 games back with 4 to play aganist the Tigers. We pulled off the sweep and came up to tie the Royals, but the Indians took care of business and also tied with us. As a result, we had to play the Indians at home and the winner would move on to play the Royals the next day. We took care of the Indians with a 10th inning walk off home run and now we play the Royals at home. I like our chances because we're riding a 10 game winning streak and we're great at home. It's really cool to see this scenario correctly play out because there are plenty of sports games out there that can't even handle 2 way tiebreaking.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment
