I just played a game where Asdrubal Cabrera had a ball take a funny hop on him and it drilled him in the face. The trainers took him out as a precaution.

All these cutscenes are being mentioned, but I've never seen any of them. Only one I've ever seen was the hidden ball trick. What presentation are you guys playing? What's a way to see more cut scenes?

Rockies called up Kyle Parker and he hit his 1st career home run and his teammates gave him the silent treatment.

I just lost Maybin for 3 weeks due to a concussion from misplaying a ball and getting hit in the head, I was laughing at first until they took him out. It was opening day......

I lost Coco Crisp for 2-3 months to a head injury after running in to the wall earlier this season, Moss and Sogard for 3 weeks each on bad hops off the face, and I just lost Cespedes to a Head Contusion for 3-4 weeks when he dove for a ball and it "hit" him.

I see plenty of injuries, just not for the pitcher.

So perhaps they are going too far to the other end of the spectrum? I haven't had anybody get hit in the field yet in 14 the show, but when the LF got hit and didn't react it was in 13 The Show. And I haven't ever seen a pitcher get hurt from a ball right back at him

A little thing lost: an injury to pitcher, but the pitcher coming in comes in cold. Happened for the first time to me last night. Cruising along with Kershaw when he developed a wrist injury, brought in Beckett (playing a tournament) and was not given the opportunity to warm him up to warm; he was promptly bombed for 4 runs in the inning.

In my Cubs franchise (and yes, they are really bad), Castro took a line drive to the head. Announcers said he was being taken out as a precaution but the trainers didn't suspect a concussion. In the end, I lost him for a month with a concussion. Pretty cool that it happened but I wanted to bring up Baez from AAA, but couldn't because he was on DL for a broken bone.
Yeah, ask my why I'm a Cubs' fan again?

I've noticed this too, but my pitchers haven't pitched like they were cold. The guys that have come in for me have thrown well, so I wonder if it's just a visual bug and not one that affects performance.

Probably been said a few times, but the reflections in sunglasses are realtime and crazy accurate based on the shape of the actual glasses themselves. I don't even wanna know how you go about doing that.

Also, the commentary will interrupt itself a few times and acknowledge it. And if they say something might happen, they acknowledge it. They really did a lot more with commentary this year. It ain't as continuous as I'd like, but it's a great step in the right direction.

In my Franchise last night had my first major league home run with Solarte. Nice cut scene after he returned to the dugout of the team ignoring him as we walked down the dugout, then they all got on him cheering etc and the manager shaking his hand. Maybe that was in last year? I've never seen it though, very nice.

Just saw in the pregame to an Opening Day game, there was a older fan in the stands that had headphones on. Seems like he was listening to a radio broadcast as they do in real life. Pretty cool detail there.

Prior to a game I played I received a message that said something to the effect of, "Chris Coghlan will be unavailable for today's game because of family related issues. You'll have to play the game short one player."

This was awesome and leaves so much up to the imagination. A family member died, a baby was born? Very cool.

This was confirmed a couple of years ago. When a pitcher gets injured, whoever you bring in is automatically ready to pitch.
