Again, I'm a Braves fan and i don't give a rat's left testicle that there is a dog instead of a cow in Turner Field. I really don't care. It doesn't hinder my enjoyment of the game.

doesnt sound like "just the logo" to me. Im pretty dang sure that VERY recognizable bottle would be "likelihood of confusion" as well.

They likely have.....that's why I said a percentage of change is acceptable.
The legal department at Sony must approve all of the in-game signage and symbols.

What *I* think is that the cow wasnt put in until June of 08 and they dont want to be bothered to change their turner field model and this is the excuse we get.

The Coke bottle was built with the stadium and is considered part of it regarless of the name on the bottle.

The cow is a movable advertisement.

Not a difference at all, the cow weighs 40 tons according to the article, I highly doubt its anymore movable than the bottle. just as dalger said, it doesnt take away from my enjoyment that I can get from playing the game. Im just tired of being told things that arent true to cover the devs a**. They NEVER come on here and give us the real reason for anything, just vagueness.

I didnt say they didnt post, I said they never directly answer questions like this one. It will be some vague answer like "if we could we would" not a detailed reason they cant. And at least once (probably a few more times) one of those things that "wasnt possible to put in the game" showed up in the next years game.

Yeah probably my second biggest gripe is that damn dalmatian lol. 2K had he cow hopefully The Show can get it next year we shall see.

What's not true? Do you work with brands, and copyright lawyers? (Serious question) It's not changing for copy right infringement issues. I don't know why it's so hard for some of you to understand this.

Quite frankly yes. They make the video game and get to sit in a chair ON THE CLOCK getting paid to be on this site answering questions. Maybe its just me but if I run a company and I am paying you to post on a message board and talk to the people that keep your job alive thats called customer service and I expect it to be done right and questions to be answered correctly. Once you are at home and off the clock post what you want.

Just as we just saw they come on FORUMS and answer stuff for us gamers, something most developers or in this case community managers don't do...

No, they get paid to develop the game you love. Visiting this site is something they do on their own time.
