2) New Face Scan for Manny Machado (you telling me the Power of PS4 can't get this done?) ridiculous

This happens ALL the time and has cost me countless runs so far.

Using auto baserunning, I'll have a runner on 2nd with no one out and a weak hitter up. I decide to go for a sacrifice bunt and as soon as the bat makes contact with the ball the runner at second instantly turns and runs back to 2nd. It doesn't matter how perfect the bunt is for a sacrifice or how fast the runner is, he still goes straight back to 2nd

The only thing I can do to prevent it, short of pausing and switching to manual baserunning for just that AB, is send the runner before the pitch, but if I miss the bunt the guy is usually dead meat at 3rd.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but, when starting a runner and they just keep going into the next base by sliding, you can no longer get them to go back at least not quickly resulting in too many dumb double plays. I attempt to pause the game and switch sides before the outfielder catches the ball and the runner has already started the slide animation but its tough. (no this isn't a mental error, its because of the sliding animations being put in this year)

This thread just shows this game was not even close to being complete, MLB07 wasn't the greatest either but this is worse overall. Im sure MLB15 will be leaps and bounds better, but this is just pretty crappy overall. might be the worst the series has ever had.

Surprised at some of the reviews max this is 7/10.

Well pretty much everything mentioned earlier:
Pickoffs
Custom cameras

What I didn't see in the list yet is the outfielders running toward the wall and stopping on a base hit. Just in the last game I played there were 3 doubles that should have been singles because the outfielder would stop at the wall with no sense of urgency to get the ball back in. Luckily I was able to pitch out of the situations for a 2-1 win but it gets really frustrating. I even try pre-loading the throw and it doesn't affect it at all.

Just noticed a full bearded ballboy at Yankee Stadium............wow.

Talk about irony, the Yankees having a 12 year old full beard kid as a ballboy. Lets don't forget the ball boys dad in the yankee dugout sporting a full facial beard.

THE F'N SORTING BUG IN THE VAULTS.

Seriously, this bug was in last year's game where you'd want to sort alphabetically. You hit R1 and it immediately switched to user rating sorting with NO way to go back to alphabetically.

It's absolutely STUPID that this bug is still there after it was there last year. I filed a bug for this on their new fancy-pants bug reporting site last year. Of course, probably no one looked at it.

Organ music gone. (PS3 has great organ music)

Cut scene and some gameplay jitters. (PS3 version plays much better)

Slow option gone.

Thank you, could you post some impressions/differences between the ps3/ps4 versions of the things mentioned above, like when does the organ music play in ps3 version.Maybe better in the impressions thread.

I think there maybe a bug with Auto def fielding, after it changes for a batter/play it doesn't seem to get reset. There's a DP chance, my field is changed to DP settings, when the DP chance is gone my field is still set for a DP.

Fix the following baserunning issues:
Runner not moving from 2nd to 3rd on a sac bunt
Runner sliding into 2nd on hit and run
Runners stopping between bases on a fly ball with 2 outs.

Might be a minor thing (and might just be needed due to the carryover franchises we get now) but I notice that every weekend series starts on a Saturday and ends with a day game on Monday. Everything gets shifted so it's kind of a moot point but it still is kind of awkward for every Monday to be a day game.

Bring back the slow play option.

Mascots don't appear as much as in past.

I haven't notices any cloud movement this year.

The information screens (such as lineups at start of game) flash off the screen too quickly. They should probably stay up until "x" is hit.

The loading times are horrible. Remember Sony promised PS4 load times would be much shorter.

Your infielder checking a phantom runner at third or second...and in the meantime he is late on his throw to first base. Why Is this an animation anyways. If i want to check the runner let me. Esp if there Is NO runner.

Things I want to see fixed

-Real major league players that for some reason have created faces. For instance in my RTTS Joe Mauer has a created face instead of a picture. Don't know if i'm the only one with this issue.

-RTTS not allowing me to move my infielder before the pitch is thrown at times. (Someone mentioned this already but I wanted to reinforce)

-Color changing while playing a game forcing me to quit and restart.

- Lower the rate of underhand flips to second base on a DP. Underhand flips should only be done close to the bag. Too man flips causing the runner to be safe at first.

- Better AI base running logic. I've seen runners not score from third on a base hit. I've also bunted to third trying to sacrifice, made the third baseman come in and field it and make the throw to first, yet the man on second never advanced.

- Change the amount of points you get for a base hit or HBP (RTTS). If you get a base hit you should not be penalized for not hitting the ball squarely, especially if you were situation hitting (hitting through a gap in the infield purposely). Also if you are HBP on an early pitch you get less points and it counting as an "OK" AB. You shouldn't be short changed for getting hit.

- Better trade logic (I think someone also mentioned this). I have a friend who plays for the cubs (RTTS), his team made a series of trades within days of each other, all involving players that were just traded for.

That's about all I can think of at the moment.
