    How about this?

Retractable Roofed stadiums act as such. Instead of Rainy Miami in June with an open stadium, or 100 degree houston in August with the open roof.

Re: MLB 15 The Show: What needs to change in order for you to purchase

As far as graphics go, I think we will see a lot more improvements for 15. Its been cited many times on these forums, but I will again....the first PS3 edition vs. the second PS3 edition are night and day when it comes to graphics. It may not be the same jump this time around with the PS4, but I have a feeling there will be some major improvements in this department.

Along with graphics, I am sure the framerate problems will be looked at and hopefully alleviated.

The sim engine in later years definitely needs to be looked at.

Also STATS, STATS, and more STATS. Can we please, for the love of God, have full career stats for everyone in franchise mode and RTTS. Including L/R splits. I mean, this is baseball, for crying out loud. Baseball IS stats. Having just homeruns, RBIs, and batting average on player cards does not tell the whole story.
      tl;dr MORE STATS!!!

Having said all that, I am still going to buy day 1, regardless of what is fixed and/or added/changed.

        It can't be graphics.
The only thing could be having the ability to send/hold runners.....but a manager doesn't do that...his base coaches do...so that wouldn't even be a true realistic addition.

        I think he's saying:

"Franchise mode should be OOTP light.

But my biggest wish is that manage mode would have more beef and a more lively feel to it."

At least that's how I took it, but I might have parsed his statement wrongly.

Cause clearly you can't change the weather before you start.

              Ahh..perhaps.
When he said at the end that he doesn't know how anyone plays this game in manage mode....I didn't see it that way.

Re: MLB 15 The Show: What needs to change in order for you to purchase

This game is the best sports game but I think this years game has took a step back this year and the graphics where a dissapotment because up intill this year it had hands down the best graphics of any sport game but this years game was while behide NBA 2k14 graphics.

                1. Graphics the game didn't look bad but like I said while behide NBA 2k14
                2. The fielding got worse this year has the computer doesn't make enough errors and they make way to many diving catches. The diving catches was a problem back in like mlb 10 the show but now that problem has came back. We have been saying this for years but we need sepert fielding sliders for the user and CPU.
                3. This to wasn't a problem in till this year and that is to many times when you though over to first base on a pick off the pitcher thoughs the ball away.
                4. Stats stats I thought going to ps4 we would have better stat tracking with being able to see past years stats.
                5. Franchise mode needs updates. Franchise mode is just to simple we need to bring back setting ticket prices and we need a weekly recap show with high lights or something. Also I would like if we had min games to improve players stats kind of like road to the show or kind of like madden did back on ps2 days.
                6. Finally it is to easy to lay down a sack bunt need to make it harder.

Not in RTTS you can't. Also, just because you can make it not rain, doesn't mean you should force every retractable roof stadium to be open, especially when some are closed for almost the entire season.

While agree retractable roofs needs to be in, we don't have that option at this point. Be thankful you can change the weather in franchise mode. I don't play RTTS so I didn't know you can't change the weather.

BTW I'm playing a franchise with Seattle and NOT once has the weather been pre-set to rain (it rains in Seattle frequently in real life) so you're not always "forced" to change the weather.

Re: MLB 15 The Show: What needs to change in order for you to purchase

In an ideal world, MLB The Show would be a graphical version of OOTP. I'll buy MLB The Show without changes, however I feel like its harder for me to stay with it than it was a few years ago.

Realistically, first I can't believe no one has issues with retirements. I've seen way too many players at 35 have MVP/Cy Young type years and then decide I'm gonna walk away now. I'm talking guys hitting .320 with 140 rbis and 30+ HR just saying "you know what, I'm done." I could get behind 1-2 guys doing this as that happens sometimes, but every major star who is still producing at ages 34-36 just quits. I know its a small thing but that really kills it for me, makes it hard for me to keep playing franchise or RTTS.

Along those lines, it'd be cool if some of the bigger stars would announce their retirement (or if there was at least a meter or indication that a player is considering retiring) and then you could have funny animations where he could be honored at games etc.

That leads me into making the league feel more alive. News stories, maybe faux stories about trades, players who reach milestones, top rated rookies getting called up, throw in some fluff pieces from time to time about someone held a charity. Could also do a top performers of the week, web gems, featured matchup of the upcoming week and I like how some others have mentioned a highlights show. You could do a video weekly show of top performances, best defensive plays, all home runs for the week etc.

I've wanted full record books for a while too. Not only record books but like a top 10, 25 or 100 in each record just so you can watch you or your franchise players climb the all-time list. This would play into my previous suggestion and based on this could help generate "stories." Ichiro climbs to 3rd All-Time on the hitting charts as the Yankees fall to the Orioles. Adding to this, I'd like to see individual teams record books too. That would go a good way to making your RTTS or Franchise rookies you brought up feel like they are a part of this team's history. If I play for the Reds and when I retire I'd like to see that I'm the All-Time stolen bases leader for the team or something like that.

I think the gameplay, while needing some work, is pretty good and feels like they are close to a point where they can start working on the "fluff" and immersion of this game. Expand RTTS, let us buy stuff with that money we've earned or at least have us interact with the rest of the team. As a young 2B, it'd be cool if Brandon Phillips mentored me or gave me pointers etc. You can make comments after the game or deal with other team mates and become a clubhouse leader, or a cancer.

The great thing is, MLB the Show is all about options so if they added in all this fluff stuff, the story lines or MLB Life aspect to the game, they could simply have a "just play ball" option that would turn all of that off. I just feel like I want a little more to the game than just going up and taking my swings. Every experience I have in MLB The Show feels very caged compared to the rest of the "world" in the game.

Game is great, just those items above would probably make me cry manly baseball tears. Love this series but I feel like it has gotten a bit stale and needs some new innovation. But seriously, am I the only one who retirements bug that badly? I don't see any posts about it, I'm just crazy right?

I understand that it's not a huge deal to some, but I like more realistic effects. Normally, they decide to open or close the roof days in advance anyway, but it's just weird seeing it raining in Marlins ballpark.

I agree people on this board will tell you I'm the biggest proponent of retractable roofs. But not much we can do for now. Hopefully they add it in MLB 15 to the 6 stadiums that need it.

The Roofs need to get in. We just heard they rebuilt the stadiums. No way they didn't plan for those roofs. That along with general stadium detail and field lighting and coloring needs to make an impact. Like a buy me for 60 bucks impact or it won't happen for me. I'm tired of the general lack of polish on the baseball front because of last gen going on so long.

honestly I dont need to roof to open and close in real time. If it can happen great. If it can't just give me the open or closed choice.
