Re: Do we expect a big change or minor update for MLB15?

I'm expecting a big change in a few aspects of the game:

-Much improved body types with a lot of variety
-Much improved uniforms, specifically the way they fit the players
-Much improved animations, enough with the lazy looking animations
    -New accessories
-Player faces could be better, some of them still look really video gamey (ie. Buster Posey)
    -Retractable Roofs
    NFL : Atlanta Falcons
    MLB : Toronto Blue Jays

I just hope they focus on offline franchise mode, that's all I play.

      1) Make the draft more immersive. Let us create draft classes to use in our franchises.
      2) I would love if they brought back the newspaper, or if they implemented some type of weekly show recapping the weeks games, trades, etc.
      3) More freedom with contracts... Like bonuses for HR,RBI,starts made, etc. More than one option year. Ability to decide how much money for each year. If I wanna pay a player 7 million in year 1 & 16 in year 2 I should be able to do so.
      4) Ability to edit coaches vitals as well as their appearance if they are generated coaches/managers.
      5) Drafted players should start playing the same year they sign, at A ball.
      6) Improved player card ! I don't only care about Win & Loss records
      7) Progression system still needs work. David Ortiz hit 41 homers with 112 RBI in a franchise of mine year one & dropped to like a 72 overall. Too much of a drastic fall after a year like that. Also, players past the age of 35 are basically useless after Year One currently.
      8) Players Retiring:Good players should not retire so soon. Jose Bautista for example seems to always retire after Year 2.
      9) Strikeout numbers for relievers definitely need to go up. Kimbrel & Chapman NEVER get to 80+ Ks in any of my sims. Strikeout relievers should resemble strikeout relievers.

I expect a big jump in grachpcis form last year. Mlb the show was easly the best looking game last gen and the first year on ps4 Mlb the show dosnt look even close to has good has NBA 2K and dosnt look has good has madden 15 either. Also franchise mode hasn't done much the last few years and we need to bring back ticket price stuff. There is just not a lot to do in franchise mode.

Yeah I know a lot of people have talked about the commentary in the game but really commentary is the worst thing about sports video games right now so I don't think it is that big of a problem. But franchise mode they took out setting ticket prices a few years back and haven't brought them back. They changed scorting a few years back but that is about it. We need a weekly rapup show, bring back the ticket prices stuff and I would like if we trained are players with mine games like madden did on ps2 or like MVP baseball did or even like you do in road to the show. Right now you basicly play games and other then that you don't really do anything else.

Yeah dude that seemed uneccesary. There's no need to be labeling people who care about this game as 'social outcasts'

You're posting on a video gaming website.....that's just about as "socially outcastable" (98% sure I just made up that phrase) as playing all the games of a franchise.

Re: Do we expect a big change or minor update for MLB15?

I have every confidence in the developers to take the game to the next level in 15. However, there are a few things I would love to see next year...especially when it comes to franchise mode.

                1. I really want to see Class A Advanced in the game. I don't play minor league games very much but I would like to see my young players accumulate stats rather than sit in a queue labeled as A ball.

                2. Year to year stats for all players, including minor leaguers. (Nothing is quite as frustrating as finishing a season and having that track record wiped clean for your prospects)

                3. I would also like to see a more immersive drafting and scouting process. I would be ecstatic if they separated the international prospects from the rest of the prospects and put them in an international free agency pool with each MLB team having a set international bonus cap. Youth development is so crucial in baseball and I want to feel the importance of building a strong farm system.

                4. The last thing I can think of as of now is the CPU's ability to build a roster. I can't stand seeing an MLB roster (or any level roster) carrying 14 to 15 pitchers and having no bench players.

This is definitely nitpicking but these are things that I feel can make this the best sports game out there. I didn't even mention animations and presentation because I feel that the developers will make great strides in this department since they have always been on the cutting edge of sports visuals.

Agree on all counts...but the big one on your list for me is #4. I can deal with a team getting a couple of big name 3B or SS and using one somewhere else....but the pitchers dominating roster spots for CPU teams is a problem.
                  I hope they address this.
I think there should actually be a cap that each team carries at each position on each level(except for Single A(or if they flesh that out..."Low A"....or whatever they name the overflow level...they need an overflow regardless) AND a cap in the organization at each level TOTAL(say no more than 8 catchers total).....

I'm excited to see what changes are in store for '15!

It is damn near impossible to get through a full season playing 145-150 games as I do in a franchise year without being unsocial. Trust me, as the OP, it's real tough to have any sort of life and fitting that many hours (at 1 per game in 2012) and I'm in 2016. I worked nights and the world closes at 3am. Perhaps now with QC it's easier but even with that maybe being the case, you want to take all that time you're saving at the MLB level games with the pro team and invest it in A ball?

I still cannot find the reasoning sound for having Class A playable. If you want it, sure, go ahead, but I just cannot wrap my head around it. Now, if you could play the games with the guys before they got drafted and had it as a sort of scouting ability I could get with that program.

Re: Do we expect a big change or minor update for MLB15?

The changes for MLB 15' are bound to be the most anticipated thing I'm looking forward to next year already. I will not overlook the things presented to us in MLB 14' that are great foundation to take us further. They have done nearly perfect job with the stadiums, the crowds and strengthening the atmosphere from previous gen. The animations around the field are largely very smooth and satisfying with room for more arsenal to be added in that area. So those are root aspects of MLB The Show that they have done well. The game is already very loaded with different online and offline features, those will certainly see more tweaks and improvements but I won't discuss the features specifically.

I believe we are going to see very significant additions on MLB 15 The Show. For one, it's very possible we will see retractable or domed versions of stadiums introduced to that game. I'm certain the entire atmosphere inside the game will be the most focused area they emphasize on MLB 15. There are things such as new dugout/player behaviour, team specific crowd behaviour, and they are definitely in need of an entirely reworked presentation package to show off the level of graphical achievement throughout this game. A presentation package is going to be very important, they hardly even currently have a highlight system in this game. Between pitches we all know it is virtually non existent, just a pitch after pitch after pitch game, unfortunately. Third, I really feel strongly also about the possibility of us being introduced to a player collisions and awareness system that will also improve the way players react across the field to dangerous scenarios that could be faced in game. Hopefully with that we will also finally be introduced to a entirely brand new injury, and player health system.

This was my first Show so I don't need anything huge though commentary overhaul would be great. A couple of new parks for Minors would also be cool (I play a lot of RTTS). For Franchise, loved suggestion on AI roster building, this may by extension improve CPU trade logic. I would love an option for some rating masking so you couldn't see OVR or POT, this would require some improved stat tracking as you would have to rely more on player performance more than ratings. Might be a little controversial.

Maybe because those that want A ball also play RTTS and it adds depth to that mode? I would love to have all levels of the game as it just adds to the depth and realism in my opinion. And now with the ability to carry over saves from one year to the next, hurrying through a franchise mode to get most out of it, is a thing of the past.

That was exactly my point. I am a 44 year old husband and active father to my 9 (soon to be 10) year old son. I coach baseball 3 days a week, play in a mens open league still as well as Wednesday night softball....so my gaming time is also limted to two hours in the late evening Monday thru Thursday (when I have the energy) and Friday and Saturday Nights is where I get my marathon sessions in playing till 2 or 3 in the morning after I spend time with my wife. Quick counts coupled with season to season saves has been a godsend for me with The Show. I am in mid September with my proper Yankees franchise with zero urgency that I have to get to year two now before the next game comes out. I also have a classic season replay going on that I play at my leisure.

So I am plenty social in my life and able to play all 162 as well.....as I have no deadline of a new release anymore. It's a beautiful thing!!!!
