His silence says nothing. The devs are guests in this forum and they don't really have to answer anything. Russell_SCEA has been kind enough to talk to us more than other developers do; sometimes I think we take that for granted.

Never said he was required, I just have the intuition that he's aware SOTS won't work the way we have expected it to but he's not saying anything about it yet.

My guess would be that he's not allowed to say anything. The update hasn't been released and they haven't even started talking about MLB 15 yet. Sony can say that USB music is added but what if they had some hiccup that they ended up scratching it from the next update. We've seen it in games created on the Next Gen systems already. The Show did it with fans catching foul balls, NHL removed 4 officials on the ice, and there are other examples. We were told those were going to be in the games but then ended up having to be removed for various reasons. There's no reason for Russell or anyone to come on here and start saying information when the update isn't even out yet. He does drop hints often but I think that's about all we would get at this point.

The update will go live on 10/28, all someone has to do is check if songs from their USB show up in the music editor...

Gunna say yes to this because of the thread that was created by Russell asking for feedback on SOTS.

I seriously hope that this magically works already with The Show 14!

I also don't see how SOTS wouldn't be possible with USB storage as opposed to HDD storage. What should matter is that the system can recognize and play the .mp3 files; where they're stored should be trivial.
