First and foremost, drop the insults.

Second, I'm just saying that they follow the MLB Style Guide. I don't know what is in it as I've never seen it, but that is what SCEA is allowed to use as to which uniforms are in the game.

And finally, I'm not defending SCEA. I was trying to help clear up any confusion someone may have been having in regards as to why or why not a particular uniform is or isn't in the game. Nothing more.

In all seriousness, since all we can do as of right now is speculate, do you guys think we'll get more slots in MLB 15? Are there any specific throwbacks you guys wanna see? I can think of so many of them I've since lost count...

I kinda hate bringing up the style guide again, but there's been something I've been meaning to ask for a while. Since 2011, each team has been given 10 hat slots, 10 top slots, and 10 pants slots. Some teams (e.g. Yankees, Tigers) don't have alternate jerseys, and nearly all teams wear the same hat and pants with their alternate jerseys as they do with their standard jerseys. With this in mind, would Sony be allowed to avoid having to put in duplicates and use those slots for other jerseys?

1. Yes...you are insulting.....condescending really ....but it's just semantics.

2. Botched it?....if you mean an error was made in correctly guessing between multiple uniforms to be assigned to fewer slots than that total....yes.....but in reality the Mets have been HORRIBLE in providing up to date info on what will be used(see the first version of CitiField....that was the METS not confirming the walls would be green and not blue as THE METS org. originally told SCEA.)

3. I'm a Met fan and I hope they provide ZERO info and all of SCEA's guesses are incorrect. I love to see nuts twisted over small stuff.

As a fellow Mets fan, I play most of my games with the team and have to stare at the incorrect uniforms all season.

How about two templates for the uniforms? It's time to honestly just do them right instead of that ridiculous placement of number on nameless jerseys. Things like that are just entirely out of place in a sim. More time needs to be taken with issues like that.

One thing to keep in mind is that the primary home and road jerseys for all teams are the first ones you see in the game. The primary home jersey for the Mets if I remember correctly is their pinstripe jersey. The Mets also have three alternates with their blue with grey lettering, their white jerseys, and their black jerseys. The blue one with grey lettering is obviously for the alternate road slot, so that means two jerseys are competing for one slot. Since the Mets already have their primary slot taken by a white style jersey, the black ones were added for contrast.

One thing I would consider if I were a Mets fan is sending a letter to the team's director of ballpark entertainment. I know that I have e-mailed the Rangers' VP of Entertainment (who is PA Announcer Chuck Morgan), and he has always gotten back to me with any questions or concerns. It never hurts to ask.

Even though they haven't worn those jerseys in years, they're still in the style guide. That's not a SCEA problem, that's a MLB problem.

Yeah they have not wore them in 2 years I can understand his point, however there are teams that have throwbacks that have not worn in years, like Miami old Orange ones.

I think going by contrast is really a poor reason to go with black alts rather then the ones they actually play with and the fact they were in previous games. if this was the case they might as well create Black unis for the yankees to create contrast.

The most frustrating thing is the fact that they were in previous games and taken out,

as for the style guide debate, if you take a look at the indians thats a perfect case of getting the wrong style guide that was outdated, as it has the wrong logo on the helmets..

As for the mets don't have a answer for that its a mystery as to why uniforms can be taken out, if you think logically about it it can't be the style guide, unless they upgraded the style guide back in 2013, and for 2014 decided to go back to the 2012 one. or SCEA miss coded it or something, anyhow hopfully it's fixed for next year for the mets and indians.
