They don't wear the black jerseys at all. They have been gone for over two years now.

They are still in the Style Guide. I know there has been talk about the Mets making a change to their identity this year, but I doubt that it will be the removal of those jerseys from the guide unless the Mets just happen to update it.

Again, if the error is so egregious, then your beef is not with SCEA, but with the New York Mets Baseball Culb.

If I had to add in jersey. I would say focus on current jerseys they will wear this coming year then worry about throwbacks the last thing as current is what everyone uses 90% of the time.

I don't use throwbacks myself unless it's an actual throwbacks teams are wearing during the season.

Again, I would say focus on what they will wear this coming season. Other uniforms are garbage 😜

At least add DLC for some updated or missed uniforms.

I have no idea what's in the style guide, but if there is a uniform that is known to not be what the team is wearing anymore even if it is in the style guide, then I think SCEA should either exclude it or mark it as a throwback. Don't list it as an active home/away/alternate uniform.

I personally think the more uniform options the better, as long as they are marked throwback.

Everyone keeps saying it's the style guide yet when 2k had a game the Twins road uniforms had stripes and the other teams uniforms had more than 5 uniforms to choose from EA=lazy and we're more accurate than anything EA with their MLB the Show has ever had.

I know it's been mentioned in other threads, but if the Twins don't have the stripe on the away pants again this year, I will have trouble getting myself to buy the game. It's just so frustrating that something so blatant can be overlooked - style guide or no style guide. Hoping they got it right this year, but not holding my breath.

A dev awhile back said that they will be working hard to get uniforms correct this year (not always a style guide issue, just error).

That's encouraging! Thanks for the update on that. I guess we'll see if any of the streams give us clues as to what changes/corrections they've made for uniforms this year.

I would like to finally be able to use the Cardinals Sunday caps again. I understand the issue with slots and everything but its frustrating when they wear the same red hat for home/road plus even the throwbacks are similiar yet we still have duplicates. I wouldnt call this a minor issue either because they wear these every Sunday home game all season long including postseason

Two questions:

Do the A's finally have the correct batting helmet with their road greys?

Why are there uniform slots? 2K has the Pelicans with 3 uniforms and the Warriors (off the top of my head) with 14. NCAA Football had mix and match without having slots. It's stupid to have two copies of each Yankees (and a few others) uniform while the Giants are missing a uniform

The stream on Monday provided a few updates :

1. The Mets jerseys are correct with the exception of the Monday camouflage jersey. They replaced it with the Home Blue Alternate

2. The Rays Colombia Blue jersey has been put back in

3. The Cardinals Sunday Alternate hat is back in the game

4. Kirby mentioned that the Rockies Black Alternate has been corrected to have the black sleeves

5. In the chat sections SCEA confirmed that the Indians Cream Alternate now is correct with the red undershirt and socks

They said there were more additions but they didn't highlight them all. They did mention that the uniform logic has been upgraded with percentages/days of the week as to when teams wear what jerseys.

The new Mariners and Giants alternates did NOT make it due to uniform slots. They said that they had access to the jerseys but they chose not to include them since they both wear the current home and road alternates regularly.

I'm still waiting, as many of us are, for the day when players wear their own team's uniform during the All-Star game. We were told before the release of the Playstation 4 that it was a memory issue. I bought that. Now I'm starting to wonder. Is this just entirely too complicated to pull off? I'd love to see it but honestly, how many times do we use the All-Start game? More often in Road to the Show I'm sure but percentage-wise I'd say that playing the All-Star game makes up for less than 1% of games we play.
