Yeah I think our priorities just don't align, as having the actual on-field product look as close to real life as possible is far more important to me than having editable umpire names, although create-a-stadium and create-a-uniform would both be high on my list of "pipe dreams"

Re: Graphics?
IDK, looking at that screen of Hosmer and comparing his CGI to the Tron, it looked VERY close. SCEA is getting there. (Although I will say visual concepts/2k has some GOOD face graphics).Comment

Re: Graphics?
Not to be a jerk, but this is the most ignorant statement I've ever heard on here... like seriously. This is by far and away the BEST sports game out there, and a GREAT representation of the sport it portrays, and you're not going to buy because the art is a little off? Hopefully you're not as nitpicky with food, otherwise you may starve to death. (I'm not trying to start anything with you man, just trying to get you to see how silly this statement is).
Until the Show improves their graphics (player models mainly) and their presentation improves greatly, to be on the level of some other sports games, that statement will continue to not be true.
But the Show does have the greatest gameplay ever IMO, so for that, it's second best in my book.NFL : Atlanta Falcons
MLB : Toronto Blue Jays

NBA 2k is the best sports game out there easily.

SCEA can hit a homer with '16 if they do the carryover rosters, overhaul the stats, put in new player models, and keep working the commentary and franchise depth. But until that happens, although it's proper to respect what they bring to the table every year, I don't want them to get too comfortable. Visually, new player models would add an incredible amount to this game. It would be a game changer.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: Graphics?
I wonder if people realize that all the models were improved from PS3 to PS4. They act like nothing's happened and keep waiting for "Dat next gen upgrayd"Comment

Re: Graphics?
And the models were improved, but they still look nearly the same to the ps3 models, just better versions if you will.
But the problems that existed with the ps3 models still exist on the ps4 models, two games into the cycle.NFL : Atlanta Falcons
MLB : Toronto Blue Jays

Re: Graphics?
I disagree.. NBA2k is good, dont get me wrong, I have played it so I can compare... and I believe the Show is better. More fluid, more intuitive... I feel NBA's controls are too laggy and jerky sometimes. And same with gameplay.. a little too jerky and awkward at times for my liking. I dont get that with the Show. Are NBA's graphics better? Maybe... but the graphics in the Show are great. And the graphics comparison between the two given the gameplay comparison between the two, to me, Show wins. The only thing I'll concede as definitely better in 2k, presentation.
The Show could definitely take somethings from 2k though, and 2k could learn some things from the Show for sure too.NFL : Atlanta Falcons

Re: Graphics?
I agree with the guy you quoted. At least the Devs for the Show are here and ready to answer questions we have. You can't say the same about 2K. And most of the feedback that we give to the Show devs, they try to get into the game at some point. With 2K after they are done with patches all they care about is online or VC. I am going to leave it at that, but there are many more issues.
2K definitely needs to stop pushing VC and microtransactions so hard, it almost ruined the game for a little while. 15 was better.
But you say "after they're done with patches all they care about is online or VC..." but at least they actually release multiple patches throughout the year. The Show doesn't really get patched. Once it's out, there's the release date patch and then after that it doesn't really happen. 2K releases gameplay patches and fixes/tweaks based on the fan feedback, constant court and jersey updates, adds new gear, etc. They also spend the time to release those daily live updates for player ratings. I realize they've got a bigger team, I'm just saying. They spend a lot of time throughout the year updating and maintaining the game. They've also got devs who post on OS just like The Show does.Comment
