Yea you know I was hoping for a little higher than 74 as I think he is gonna be great. But maybe they just want to see more of him? Hopefully he does good from the get go and gets a attribute increase

Think the better question would be who will be the 99's this year..

        SP D. Price (93)
        SP J. Verlander (86)
        SP A. Sanchez (85)

        2B I. Kinsler (87)
        SS J. Iglesias (76)

        RF S. Moya (67)

I'd have to guess Miggy will be rated higher than a 94. I don't think his down year last season was enough to drop him 5 points. He was battling an injury, clearly wasn't himself, and still was 9th in the MLB in OPS.

They base ratings on the last 3 seasons (most recent year weighted the highest, but still). Miggy's last 3 seasons: .329/.401/.587 with 38 homers and 128 RBI's on average.

Also 89 for Cespedes seems very, very generous. I know he was an 88 last year and that was also generous. He doesn't get on base, and for a slugger his slugging % is shockingly low. He's already 29 and his last 2 seasons he's barely an above average hitter (107 OPS+). He strikes out 130 times a year (career 21% K rate). I'd give him an A potential but set his rating down at like 81-82 if it were me.

I personally think he's a future Gold Glover.

Considering I think I saw Chris Sale as a 94, Bumgarner shouldn't even be a 93. If Sale is a 94, Bumgarner would have to be like an 87.

Ahh I'm a die hard pirates fan as well but I can see trout as a 99 and Cutch as more a 96-97.
Kershaw I think deserves a 98-99 but it's all apples and oranges really those three are all part of the very elite group of guys in baseball.

But you can agree that Cutch is superior to Puig, right?

Bum should be around 90. 87-93 range.

And there should be no if about Kershaw. Anything other than 99 would be disrespectful. He is the best player in MLB.

This is absolutely terrible. Let's start with the starting pitchers, everything is good but AJ will be higher, and cumpton won't make roster, that final spot is for Worley or Locke if Morton is not healthy, but if he is he will be the five starter. Now, the batting order, Walker certainly be a 78 after a season where he hit 20 plus homers and jhay with only an 81? He was second for NL batting title, literally played every position, played great defense, and hit for a little bit of power, also, cervelli is a good defensive catcher, and he hit 302 last year, it was only 50 games but he usually hits in the 270s which is good for a catcher, he will be high 70s. Also, bullpen is way off, Watson just went to the allstar game and had an era in the low 1's. Also, melancon is a bit higher, and laframboise won't be on the team. Holdzkom had a fantastic year and pitched well in his short time with the Bucs, he will be high 70s, also we picked up bastardo, and he and is a very good reliever and that wouldn't be 7th position, he'd be an 7th inning man, his overall would be in the 80s. Also , the bench is bad too. Corey hart didn't have a good yr last yr but from 2010-2013 he hit 26,27. And 31 homers in those years. He will be higher. Also, kang has great raw power and will be higher, and Stewart hit a quiet 280 last year and is good defensively, so he will be in 70s. Bad overall.
