I thought they took out the load up phase and it's the flick up only, I don't like it any better but I can live with it

Im not 100% on this, but the old way where you pull back on the stick then flick up will now be a power swing, instead of pushing a button for power/contact. Just flick up for a normal swing then down an up for power, I think that's how it works in 15, unless I misunderstood how it works.

IM sure it will take time to learn it, or I know it will me, but I gladly welcome a new way. I know some like to keep stuff like this the same, as they dontl ike trying new ways, but Im all for trying a new way, might even be better once your able to get use to it.

Believe me I hope you're right, I think directional hitting with two types of analog swings would be a great dynamic challenge. Does anybody know for sure how the analog swing will work this year???

Obviously they will never get it perfect to everyones liking whether its MLBTS or NBA2k as well as Madden, but trade logic in all these games have been very bad.

Im sure its easier said than done, but with the technology today you would think it would be a lot better than it is. Hopefully this is the yr that the trade logic gets done right, but atleast we have 30 team control, so we can nix stupid trades. Having all team control is the best thing they ever done for sports games, along with MLBTS adding the ability to manual injure players.

The MLBTS devs have always been top notch, so if its possible to get trade logic right they will get it done before Madden or NBA2k does, I can guarantee that.
I have never encountered a console baseball game that has ever had great trading logic. Nor I have I really ever encountered any console sports game that gets trade logic to a point where everyone feels it is good to great.

          Never.

So I have 30 team control with everything set to auto for the other 29 teams. It takes me literally 20-30 seconds to scan the pending transactions for every team by holding down the R2 button...see a trade offer...stop. Read it. Look over each team. Make sense? Let it go through. Does not? Reject it.

          Done.

I know we want better trade logic...we all do. But there are features in the game that allow us to approve and disapprove trades.

In the future I hope the team looks at what 2K basketball did in MyLeague mode which has the most customization options in a franchise mode I have ever seen. You don't need 30 team control on that game to approve and disapprove trades. That is a toggle option in the MyLeague set-up menu.

Frequency of trades, blockbuster frequency of trades...it's pretty deep.

I am sure they are well aware of it and will look to add to the already deep customization we have on The Show.

Hang in there Show Nation. Improvements are coming every year on this console cycle. In the meantime use the tools that you have to make the game better!

That's why I said 30 team control was the best option ever added into a game, cause it gives you the ability to nix trades. That along with being able to manual injure players is probably the 2 best thing they ever done imo, I love both features.

Just bought my PS4, and NBA2k15 Sunday so I haven't got into the modes yet, but all those options in My League sound great, didn't realize just how customizable it was this yr, maybe MLBTS will add in stuff like that to help make things better in franchise mode.
