Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
Can you only transfer online franchises? I have 2-3 offline franchises-can those also be saved to the cloud and transferred to 15?Comment

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
Maybe this has been answered already but on RTTS when you move your 14 saves to 15 will the current MLB rosters be updated as well ?? Will they reflect all changes from last years MLB rosters to in include your RTTS player, thanks
( In other words I play for the Cardinals at 2nd base will Jason Heyward be on my 2015 roster )Last edited by BSUFAN; 03-05-2015, 08:32 AM.When you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Yogi Berra

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
I just have a hard time understanding that. It was very clear how Y2Y would work. The entire point is to be able to keep your existing franchise and RTTS in tact and get all the benefits of the new games features. If you constantly want the updated rosters every year then your the type of player that starts over.
Makes zero sense to carry over a universe only to have everything come undone except your player?
Come on man. This feature is a groundbreaking development that hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of man hours were put into.Last edited by Armor and Sword; 03-05-2015, 10:11 AM.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
I understand the whole save situation and what it means not having to start over. All I was just hoping for some roster tweeks for 2015 to go with my RTTS player that's all, not hard to understand. When you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Yogi Berra

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
It defeats the logic of having Y2Y saves. All the trades, rosters moves, promotions, demotions, injuries....everything that has went on in your franchise or RTTS means nothing once you start doing tweeks to the roster.
So just forget that the reality for example in your RTTS had Jamie Shields on the Royals and your in August of your current RTTS....you transfer it over to MLB 15 and he magically is now not a Royal.
Ok then.Now Playing on PS5:

Oh I actually understand what you want. I just don't understand why you want it.

Ok then.I would willing bet that I am not the only person that would want the change , anyway for me it does not alter my RTTS player, trades and and stuff goes on all year long anyway so it wouldn't be any different other than starting the year with the new changes.I have all my players to transfer ready to start the 2015 season so to me it would make sense to have real world changes that include my RTTS player, so there it is, my wish.........

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
The thing that I don't understand with these request to somehow merge your RTTS player into updated rosters but still continuing your career is what makes you think the current real life MLB rosters would make sense in your RTTS if you are years into the future. I'm in 2018 in my RTTS with the Braves and I still have Heyward, both Uptons, Gattis, and Medlen on the roster. If the game somehow did merge my career into the 2015 rosters, what makes you think it is realistic that those players would be on their respective teams in 2018? Heyward and J Upton are heading to FA, I doubt both will be with the same team in 2018, so merging a roster just doesn't make sense to me.
But something I think that would be a fun feature and beneficial to those that want to continue a career is being able to export a RTTS player, stats and all, into a created player that you could import into a franchise and then you could just play with player lock on. Still don't really understand the logistics of it because if your RTTS player is 6 years into his career, why would you make him go back in time to the 2015 season?

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.
Here's a nitty gritty question I hope gets answered, I have a created player in my franchise (me) I use Jason Kubels stance, if in mlb 15 Kubels stance is obsolete because I don't believe he signed on with anyone else, will I need to change my stance once I transfer? Or find it in the "veteran" or "generic" stances? Or is it gone for good? Seems you guys usually keep stances on file and buildComment
