    MLB: 14 Save transfer question.

    Since you mention skin tones...

Will the new and improved skin tones be available when creating a player? If so how will they work? (Skin tone radial wheel? Or like in past years but with more preset selections?)

I'm in 2018 in my RTTS with the Braves and I still have Heyward, both Uptons, Gattis, and Medlen on the roster. If the game somehow did merge my career into the 2015 rosters, what makes you think it is realistic that those players would be on their respective teams in 2018? Heyward and J Upton are heading to FA, I doubt both will be with the same team in 2018, so merging a roster just doesn't make sense to me.

But something I think that would be a fun feature and beneficial to those that want to continue a career is being able to export a RTTS player, stats and all, into a created player that you could import into a franchise and then you could just play with player lock on. Still don't really understand the logistics of it because if your RTTS player is 6 years into his career, why would you make him go back in time to the 2015 season?
Yes it would be nice to export the current roster update for 2015 for my RTTS player. Everyone plays their RTTS players differently that doesn't mean its wrong. It means it would be nice to have an option if you wanted it without having to start over.

Re: MLB: 14 Save transfer question.

It is possible to create a player in franchise mode with 30 team control and only player lock him. Then you can manually keep track of all the up to date transactions and still get updated schedules each year.

Of course the progression will be different but hey you do that have that option....if that is what you truly desire.

To be honest, this could work out well with the new performance modifier for progression.

i still can't believe that there are people out there that either don't get it or just don't want to give it up.

what is so hard to understand about Y2Y saves... why would you want to have updateed rosters and keep your previous years franchise intact??

If you want the most current rosters and teams and all that.. dont transfer your existing file over and start new.

if you want to continue your franchiise or RTTs or whatever then transfer your file..

you can't have your cake and eat it too...

it isn't brain surgery.. why would someone want both anyway...

Yeah I don't understand people asking for this, it's not a Y2Y save feature.....it's like they just want to be able to export their RTTS guy and plug him into MLB 15? I mean logically how could you ignore all of the trades/signings, etc. that have gone on in your MLB 14 Franchise? If people want up-to-date rosters just start a new RTTS or franchise, right?

Does anyone know if your gameplay settings and sliders will transfer in as well or just the stats for your franchise?

              Thanks.

Everything will transfer over exactly as it is and that includes game settings and sliders.

There are a couple of new sliders this year as outfield and infield speed are independent of each other for 15. So those will be set at default (5) when you transfer over your file.

Timed hitting is now called directional hitting in the settings menu (if you do not touch the left stick it is classic timed).

Has anyone mentioned anything about the managers or coaches will be the same when we transfer the file from 14' to 15'? The players will morph into a new creation sort of speak...

Never mind I read Amour Sword response to another question about the overall transferable items.

Managers will stay the same and be on whatever teams they are on in your franchise. I did ask Ramone about generic managers and coaches and if they'll change if the real coaches were added to 15. (See Brad Ausmus and Tigers as example) He hasn't replied back. When I asked he said he wasn't sure.

I was just finalizing my coaching staff for 2016 and I was wondering this as well. I really hope they can get the real coaches to replace the generic ones but not a huge issue if they can't.

In the IGN stream the DBacks coaching staff is generic.

                                Quick question.

If I transfer my RTTA pitcher from MLB 14 the show over to MLB15 the show, will the roster used with my pitcher remain the same?

For example if I used OSFM on MLB 14 the show with my RTTS pitcher, will the surrounding roster around my player remain the same?
