Appreciate all the input "My" I will have to try out some of those pitch Strategies.I wonder if anybody thinks that Pitch to batter seems a little less homerun prone then in the past?

I feel like Pitch to Batter=Try to throw a strike,but not as meatbally as years past.Pitch aggressively=Throw quality srtike "Aka" corner and usually low.Pitch Around=Just that pitch around,with the caveat if confidence is really high you'll often get really quality pitches even called strikes.Play Ball=Pitcher on his own.I'd be interested to see if fellow Mom guys agree disagree or think that's close?

My problems with pitch around or pitch aggressive is I don't know where they are going to throw the ball. If I tell them low and away or high and in, there is a decent chance this is where the pitch will go. Of course I do use the Colorado Rockies, worst pitching staff in the league. Sometimes my high and away instructions get ignored and the pitcher throws the opposite of what I wanted. But those low and away followed by a high and away pitch have definitely given me a decent return on strike outs. Definitely worth trying if you get ahead in the count and your pitcher is on the opposite side of the batter.

They don't always score. But there is usually a steady stream of opposition base runners in my defensive innings. Three up and three downs are pretty rare for me. I just finishing playing the Giants where I had only one three up and three down inning in the game. For the other 8 innings the Giants had one or two base runners to deal with in each of the innings. It's amazing I actually won this one thanks to the offense coming alive in the middle innings. I'm still in last place in the very competitive NL West, but I improved to 8-10 with the win.

PS: I did strike out three in the game with that low and away, followed by a high and away pitch sequence.

Ive started much better then the real life Giants i'm 10-6 Best start ive ever had at MoM

Good to hear. If we were actually competing against each other, you with the Giants myself with the Rockies I would be like "dude why are you giving away all your secrets". But since we are not actually competing against each other, why not share. Oh and in my MoM Season (mirroring the real world calendar) the Giants and Dodgers are tied for 1st place, both teams are 2.0 games ahead of the Padres and D-Backs and 2.5 ahead of the Rockies.

That's the dream one day online Mom head-head.Also would like to call pitch and location.But to be honest i'm thankful the Devs have kept Mom in.

I really enjoy MoM as my go to when I don't play rtts. For some reason I want to control MY guy but have the game control with me managing the OTHER guys.

I enjoy Rtts when not playing Mom.I stink but i still like it to some extent.What are some of your strategies for Mom?

I am hoping ... HOPING ... that next year MOM / Franchise has deeper and more atat tracking, more players from the past, pickoffs, truly customizable cameras. Why force us to watch from the cameras that are designed for those who actually pitch and hit?
