I just switched from MLB 13 and one of the things I noticed is that while batting MLB 15 does not show where the last pitch was thrown (without pushing a key to call it up) and it does not show the pitch speed at all. This was standard in MLB 13 along with the pitcher pitch types. My question is there any way to keep that info constantly up while batting instead of having to push the D pad right arrow key?

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
The pitch speed is still shown on the scorebug in the upper left corner, but it is much quicker and it won't show all the time - like on foul balls it won't show it if I remember correctly.
When you press R2, it should show you the location and types of the previous AB on the first pitch of the AB or the same for the current AB if not on the first pitch. If you press D-Pad right, then it changes to show you the last pitch and timing only. Whichever you are last looking at (full AB or 1 pitch timing) will be the first to show up the next time you press R2. No matter what, you have to press R2.Comment

Not since The Show 12.
I'm just going to chalk it up to another bug in this years release. I certainly don't remember this in any prior year.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Does anyone know if you can player lock a player in Franchise mode but play in a Double or Triple A league game?
Also which team would you say has the most life like counter part players on their rosters?Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

Do you mean as far as the minor league guys? If so just download OSFM or one of the other user crated rosters. It will have all the real minor league players.Comment

Yes. Just cause you select someone to player lock at the MLB level has no effect on the minors. You can even player lock minor league guys.

Push the right stick left or right to toggle between MLB, AAA & AA.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Like the other guy said pushing the right stick left or right will change between MLB, AAA, and AA. So everything you see as far as schedule, line up and rotation for MLB you will see the same thing for the minors when you switch to them.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Thanks for the replies! This just became a whole new game for me! I can do a road to the show style season with my created player and have complete control over teammate equipment throughout the season! Also not have to carry the team like RTTS mode relies on! Maybe I should come up through the Texas organization so many ideas now!
THANKS!!!Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Didn't know where to put this so I'm going to throw it here and see if anyone can answer.
I was playing a franchise game as the Giants, in the bottom of the 8th I put in my set up man with 2 out and a man on second. The pitcher spot was due to lead off the top of the 9th but since I was planning on switching pitchers for the 9th I didn't double switch.
So what happens is the runner on first tries to steal second and I throw him out ending the inning. I then try to pinch hit for my pitcher and it says I can't because he didn't complete an at bat. I know that the rule, however is there not a sub rule in place to deal with this type of situation? Seems silly that you'd lose your ability to pinch hit for a pitcher because you threw a man out stealing second.
Anyone know what the actual rule is? Is this just something they didn't properly code in the game?Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
The rule is that the new P has to pitch to at least one batter until he is either put out or the offensive team is put out (runner caught stealing or picked off). Since the batter wasn't put out, the game doesn't recognize the new P as having faced the batter. This is a bug that's been in since '13, it doesn't have the offensive team out part of it.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
I have an issue with the blue XP bar on the top-left of the screen.
I've been stuck on lvl 30 for a couple months it seems. The blue bar is all the way full, and has been for a while, and yet I stay on lvl 30 after each game. What's up?Bucs, Lighting, Rays,Comment
