It's not with the gamepad anymore, please dont' tell me they removed it.

In the help menu, under strategy, they even mention to refer to the pitcher/batter analysis to pitch/batter better.
And in the help/controls menu, that feature is not even listed as far as I can tell.

    Anyone?
Yeah, this took me a bit to figure out. Basically everything that used to come up when you hit the touchpad is now on the pause screen (the options button). The pitcher's average pitch speeds, the batter's tendencies, all of that. The analysis screens are now under "Stats" in the main menu - those are the screens that plot out the location of every pitch in the game.

If you're looking for something else from last year let me know - a lot of stuff got moved around. And the strategy guide is now quite a bit outdated as a result.

You have to close the game and go to the settings on your PS4. Find the display settings and make sure it's set so the white corners fill up the screen. When you start up The Show again it'll be full screen.

You can also press up on the dpad if I remember correctly you don't have to pause the game.

you are awesome Thank you so much, I figured they had moved it somewhere and i was searching in different spots lol.
            Appreciate it, very helpful.

It's a little disapointing that they would bury it in an extra layer of menu, I thought their goal was to simplify and give quicker access to crucial items, not make them harder to reach. Oh well, it's minor gripe.

I'd suggest that changes like this one (modified/changes from MLB14), should be stickied somewhere if it isn't already.

Since you're asking, would you know what happened to the swing info display? I know they've made a change and now the swing info is displayed inside the batter's box itself, but there is no tracking of the pitch movement anymore nor is there the speed of the last pitch (unless, again, I'm missing it somewhere).
As far as the timing feedback, I believe they oversimplified it (all I saw was "early" or "late"). It used to go a bit further and say "slightly early" or "very late". I"m guessing that's gone.

As far as pitch display/pitch history: I don't see any option to display the pitch speed either. That was under "pitch display: full" I believe in last year's options. Did they remove that option completely?

Another thing I've noticed, the quick menu (up on the pad) When pitching or batting, that menu used to display the total Strike Outs for the current pitcher during the game (K 5 for example). That's gone too, and I hope they simply moved it. Do you know if that's still in?

I appreciate the help. I'm sure others here will have some questions about the new frontend & menus. If I come up with more, I will post them here.

            Thank you!

Not sure if I'm following you but the directions on the d pad give you most of the info. Right on dpad then r1 l1 give a bunch of info. also while at bat if you hold R2 it shows location and pitch type of all pitches in the game to that player Also if you swung early or late or good and it's color coded as well. What else are you looking for?

That's a little different too - it's still basically the same thing, but it's just displayed over home plate instead of a separate window. Pre-pitch Hold down R2 and press left or right on the d-pad and you'll see the Pitch location and the timing. Plus, if you're playing zone hitting or pitching to the CPU, you'll see where the PCI was aimed.

Not sure about this - I didn't pay close enough attention in my first game. But you could be right.

Pitch speed will pop with the radar gun reading on the score bug, but yeah I'm not seeing any way to display it on demand.

This appears to be gone, replaced by the pitcher's innings pitched and ball/strike count. I saw someone else ask about that but I haven't been able to find it anywhere but the pause menu box score.

Gameplay Options, General - Advanced : Turn Pitch Select Display off. This will also hide the pitcher's energy and confidence, but you can can view the energy by pressing any D-pad direction other than down pre-pitch.

It will also hide yours, so make sure you know what pitches your guy throws.

Yes, I suppose it's just a matter of getting used to this new location. I just liked having all the analysis in a seperate box to the side.
Seems it had a touch more depth and placed out-of-the-way, just there when you need to glance at it.
This is probably very minor for most, I just think it was something unique to MLB (I don't think MVP had it, or at least, not as detailed). That's just me. Maybe they'll bring the option back next year.

Aw It's a shame, some pitchers like to have that info handy. Again, that will probably return next year, might just be an oversight.

I'm hoping we just overlooked it and it's buried in a menu, because information like that can be very useful to some.
Not holding my breath on that one though

that last part, red vs blue. Isn't that balls & strikes? I dont' think that's the timing, bug I could be wrong.
If I'm correct, the color coding doesn't replace the swing timing history that was there last year (early, very early, slightly early, late, slightly very late, etc..)
No matter, will just have to get over this. The game is actually too good to focus on stuff like that.
And thankfully I still have mlb14 installed and can always go back to it now and then when I miss those features.

Again, thank you for taking the time to answer.

Nope up left or right is contact swing and down then up is power swing. No timing. I'm not too happy about it.
