I have been playing this series since the PS2 days and noticed last year the game really started to feel stale to me. From the commentary to the game play itself.

Has this years version done enough to make me buy it or should I skip it? I want to play it as I need my MLB fix but dont want to get bored with it like I did last year.

can somebody with the game pop into hr derby and see if you can use the broadcast view of the homeruns instead of that view from behind the catcher??

I'm only going to comment on the Radio Show right now....yes...I'm a bit biased as I at one time recommended this.....but it's more for filling you in on scores and highlights around the league.
If you listen to a regular sports radio show.....they usually have a guy(not the sports talk show host) break in at the top of the hour and just reads the scores from the previous day. It's the same all day unless there is some sort of big breaking news that day. That's what this is.
Honestly.....how many of you actually look at the other scores in the league once you play your game? This is a way to bring you those and some other happenings while you are doing something else(roster moves....etc)
It's meant for the background...not to sit there and just concentrate on that solely IMO.

Of course that being said.....I really hope they flesh it out immensely as yes......you hear the same tags for the different games and in that sense could get a bit repetitive. But that's an inherent problem with recorded audio as opposed to the spontaneous nature of being live.

I didn't get a chance to hear it last night. How do I initiate the radio show?

As usual, I turned off the soundtrack and "audio clips" (the ones that are of the real life announcers from the 2014 season). Is the radio program tied to one of those by chance?

Don't know where else to put this. What fielding view are you using ? Dynamic or Bradcast? I know it's a user preference but I wanted to get a few ideas

I am applying licensed equipment to my RTTS player and his training numbers aren't moving up based on what that number was. Anyone else see this?

I have a few random Diamond Dynasty questions:

Regarding Pack opening screen on the left side:

-After I open a pack of cards, the players ratings appear under the card on the right, click X to reveal next card, and your cards slide over to the left. When I'm done, I'd like to look through the cards on that screen again, on the left side, you can highlight the card, but pressing X or any other button does nothing. I thought maybe there would be a back to the card with ratings, or if you click on the card, you have options such as sell or put in lineup from that same screen. Even the bottom of the menu says X selects but it does nothing.

I've played a few games in DD and none are listed in history or extra innings. Does it take awhile to update?

Hot/Cold Streaks

Is there a way to disable hot/cold streaks in offline Franchise mode? I can't seem to find it in any menu option.

Can i get my old swing play style back? I did Pure Analog where I had to start the controller down for the leg kick and then up to swing...this year it looks like it does the start automatically. I'm still installing the game so maybe it unlocks later, but i don't like it.

Quick question, is the HR cam still in the game? I loved watching my player drop his bat and start walking towards the base.

Also if it is does my in-play view offense camera have to by on dynamic cause right now I have it on medium.?

Does anyone know how to get a "Pull" spray chart in RTTS? I always get extreme push, even with a power hitting outfielder. Appreciate the help.

They changed analog hitting this year, there's no more pulling down to stride. Instead, you push up for normal swing, left or right for contact swing, and down for power swing.

Imo it has either been removed or greatly toned down.
I hit a no doubter with Matt Adams last night and it didn't trigger....
