i still dont understand how this effects anything while on offense.
defense i can see if you dont have auto fielding on. but thats prob why they didnt put it in for fielding.

    what is the issue??
its def not a bug. my guess is the developers wanted it in there because it looks more realistic from behind the pitcher view after making contact. more like watching a game on tv.

I think I answered this once, but here it is again from my point of view. I understand that people have been asking for this for a while and I certainly don't mind it as an option. I'll also do my best to get used to it if this is just the way it's going to be.

However, I bat from a broadcast/behind the pitcher view. So when I hit the ball, I just see it fly in some general direction with very little idea of what kind of hit it was or where it's really headed. Not only is that kind of weird, but it also causes a delay before I can instruct my runners to advance.

Say for instance I have a runner on 1st with fewer than 2 outs. I hit the ball and have to decide it I want to try to send the runner to 3rd. That delay means I have to wait longer to see where the ball is in relation to the fielder and make my decision about whether to advance. It's not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things but it hasn't really been a welcomed change for me.

That's fair. So would you say the delay is just something we need to get used to? I know many people have been asking for it for a while so I'm sorry if this makes you feel like you just can't win with us.

I submitted a bug report about not seeing Hot/Cold Zone previews when using Quick Counts, which I guess is happening because you don't see Pitch 1 of an at-bat using quick counts. Will my bug report be updated in anyway to say if it is actually a bug or if it was a design decision? Thanks.

No worries, just go back 2 or 3 pages and you can see what people are saying about this.

I answered this in my original response.

So it seems we can't edit the appearances of retired/non-MLBPA players using Y2Y saves. For instance, the likenesses of Carlos Marmol and Alfredo Aceves.

Is this a bug or is this by design?

If so I'll gladly fill out a report but I'm not sure if this was intentional or not.
