This is directed towards the devs but anyone can answer.

On button hitting, does the strength you press the button with affect how well the ball is hit? For example, if you only press the button half way, will you get a half-hearted "drag" swing?

On PS4 no. The PS4 controllers use digital buttons. So its an all or nothing press. They can't tell how hard you press it. But the PS3 controllers can since they are analog buttons. But I'm not sure if the game even has it built in to acknowledge that.



So PS4 for sure no. PS3 potentialy.

Is there any easier way to hit home runs using directional hitting

Push up, use the power swing, pull the ball. Any mix of two.

When playing RTTS, what buttons do I push to stretch a single into a double?

What buttons do I push to steal 2nd base? to steal 3rd base?

I started a Franchise, but don't necessarily want to play all the games. I know they can be simmed, or you can start a game & then set team control to CPU, but is there a "manager mode" in Franchise? So the computer would do most of the work, but I could still do substitutions, defensive alignment, baserunning calls, etc?

1/ Will a bad showing in your showcase/draft position affect how fast you get called up to the majors? I always do bad in my showcase and usually get drafted in the late rounds.

2. Is there a way to turn off fielding in RTTS? I'm great at hitting but am dreadful at fielding.

Select the game, there should be a Manage Game option.

2 questions about RTTS.

1/ Will a bad showing in your showcase/draft position affect how fast you get called up to the majors? I always do bad in my showcase and usually get drafted in the late rounds.

Can't answer 1 but for 2 - set Game Watch to Classic and RTTS Fielding Opportunities to None.

Just wondering what slider everyone uses for out fielder arm strength. I had started out lowering it to three. But it seemed impossible to score from second on a single, I would have three or four runners a game gunned down. So I lowered it to 2, but now there are no plays at the plate that are even close. Throws are usually so far off that the catcher is nowhere near the plate when the runner gets there. So just curious what everyone uses to get realistic runs scored from second.

Have you changed any other sliders like base runner speed or anything? When I had it on 3 I got gunned down three times in one game trying to score from second. Once with Beltran, which I don't have a problem with, he isn't exactly gracefull on the base paths. But both Gardner and Ellsbury got gunned down, and it wasn't even close on ground balls to right field. The catcher was just sitting there waiting on them to get to the plate with the ball in his glove. I play with auto base running.

Do we have any idea when The Show will put up more Specialty Packs?

I was saving up forever to get a Silver Loaded, and they disappeared. So i would rather save my 7,500 stubs for a new specialty pack than 7 normal packs.

My base runner speed is down 1 to 4. Fielder speed is down 1 or 2 as well so they don't get to the ball as fast.
