How do you guys handle changing someones position? Need to move Luis Sardinas or Jean Segur to 3rd but not sure how much i should change their fielding ratings..

Depends on your long-term goal, I'd say. If you're just talking about using a SS to play 3B because you don't have a viable 3B, I'd make sure he was more than viable defensively, even to the point of raising his fielding ratings (3B is the easier position). If you're more thinking of turning one of them "into a third baseman" proper, I'd argue there's wiggle room to do something like reduce speed and fielding but up hitting power and arm strength.

Just play around with it. So long as what you do makes sense to you, you can't really mess up.

I had Prince Fielder get hurt and I am going into the ALCS. I want to add him to the roster, but it says he is on the playoff roster, and when i click remove it says he is on the DL. I go to the DL screen and I cannot find him on there. What do I do?

Anyway to prevent the game from skipping through all the animations when taking a pitch or fouling a ball off?

Seems way more prevalent this year, instead of getting the option to skip through these animations, the game just goes ahead and does it for you.

I've noticed it while baserunning in RTTS as well. If you are using "1st Person" presentation the game will just auto skip to the next pitch while you are walking back to the bag. Pretty jarring, and I don't like it at all.

Skipping scenes was a design decision this year. The reason being the vast majority of people skip them anyway the devs decided to take the choice away from us this year and just cut down the animations.

I have injuries on, and I looked at every setting it could be, but I'm 20 games in with 30 teams control and haven't seen any injuries in my franchise. Is there something I am missing?

Honestly, what gives with this game????

I really need to know how everyone is finding enjoyment with this game? I finally had a game where I scored over 4 runs. Miracle! Top of eighth I rally for four runs (I had what seemed to be a few CPU gimmie's like hits that should never have been hits) my worst hitter Tulowitzki (weirdly, all the best rated hitters I have are all my worst hitters????) had a nice pinch hit homer run and I had the practically unhittable Bettances and Miller warming up. Bottom of eight like clockwork comes the uncanny inability for my best pitchers to hit the strike zone. Im sitting there saying to myself,"wouldn't it be hysterical if the computer came back at this point" Sure enough boom two walks, silly little hits down the third base line. I get a pop fly to deep center where the man on second tags up and scores??!!!! Im sorry rarely if ever do even the fastest players tag up and score on outfield fly outs, except for Griffey, Jr. Lastly, for good measure the CPU clubs a go-ahead homer by Anthony Gose! Once again I had to just turn the game off. It's insane! Is this game good only as a sim? I mean if you play every game like I do its nuts how games that I win are all decided by one or maybe two runs? Does anyone have any advice or is this something I am just going to have to deal with???? It is truly agonizing!

This is just getting pathetic! Played another game 3-3 into the ninth betances again and 2 outs then the almighty Gose comes up and hits another convenient INSIDE THE BALLPARK HOMERUN! C"Mon man I can't believe how bad this game is for real! Everything is fantastic until the utter nonsense CPU comeback happens. I can't even tell you how common IBPHR's and triples are per game. Sony needs to develop a patch because the game is awful outside of the nice graphics. Save your money until something is done people it's down right dreadful. Hopefully next year Sony can figure it out, oh well. It also scares me that no one in this forum has even addressed these concerns. I haven't even heard the usual lower the settings and whatnot.

Thats just your opinion man. Maybe get better before saying that kind of stuff. There are even threads about it that you could be posting in instead of posting here when you arent even asking questions.

How do I tag runners when they attempt stealing home? My catcher just stands or runs back and forth unable to tag opposing player who's not even sliding. I had three of such steals last game online and I feel a bit frustrated. I would lost anyway but this just depletes the will to finish the game.

yes they are

If you have injuries to ON(in the GENERAL-ADVANCED...GAMEPLAY OPTIONS)...also make sure that the profile with that is USE AS DEFAULT.

You also are saying you have them to manual....do you mean injury management....? If not make sure you have the actual injury option to ON.
