Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
The Indians have been eliminated from the playoffs by the Orioles. I'm highly disappointed, but I'm glad we got the experience. Hopefully we can build on this for the following year.
The Dodgers defeated the Orioles for the World Series.Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
What does one have to do to get more playing time as a starter? I made a RF, 77 overall, I think, and I'm stuck on the bench in Baltimore. Delmon Young is a 70 overall and he's getting all the starts. Maybe it has something to do with my age (20). Wondering if anyone has experience with this.
What are your respective defensive attributes? Maybe he's better defensively than you and they don't want to put you out there?
What are your respective hitting abilities?Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I made a second baseman last night and unfortunately got drafted by the Rays. I say unfortunately because I am using OSFM rosters and half of our top guys were buried in A ball, meaning that they were overwritten by the RTTS-generated players. Our organization no longer has Matt Moore, Jake McGee, etc etcPSN:Xplisit21

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
CPU trading is drunk.
My guy is on the Giants and in 1/2 of the first season already they've traded away Andrew Susac and Buster Posey and gotten 3 right fielders, 2 relief pitchers and some scrub starting pitcher.
And now Hunter Pence is the starting catcher...
I kept trying to quit after the Buster Posey trade and seeing if they would do it again, but they kept doing it. Giants got Jason Heyward, Randy Choate, and some starting pitcher I've never heard of. It was so ridiculous, and they had already traded away Susac.Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
Has anybody else had a cold streak )snowflake by your players name) for way to long? I have had one since mid may and its almost august now and the past to months my guy has hit .352 and .322 but it will not go away. Just wondering because this has my adjusted overall down about 4 points from my regular overallComment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
What bat are you guys using and does it make a difference ? I have a Velo Birch gold bat that has served me well " my second baseman has 65 HRs " and I bought the Big Stick Diamond bat and I went into a tailspin until I switched back to the Birch bat so 11,000 stubbs wasted. Anybody else feel any old bat would work ? Kinda disappointedComment

Then just today we traded Buster Posey for Christian Yelich, Steve Cishek, and Mike Dunn lol the show trade logic is ridiculous. Guess we have a lot of big bats already but c'mon man!!Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
19 Starts into the 2016 season with Arizona
I'm 6-5 with a 2.60 ERA, 123 Strikeouts, 9 Walks, 0.93 Whip, 15 Quality Starts and 1 Complete GameShutout.
Story of the season. Run support, or lack therof. Best examples. I don't remember the opponent but I went 7 Innings, gave up 4 hits, no earned runs and lost 2-0 because 2 errors helped them score. Another game I gave up 1 run and 4 hits in the 1st, then went on to throw 8 Innings, only allowed 1 more hit and lost 1
I'm hoping in the offseason they address our lack of offenseFavorite Teams:

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I really enjoy this mode when everything starts clicking. I just had a stretch of hitting a home run in 4 straight games. One was in a pinch hit situation & another in my last at bat to extend it to 4 straight games. And for some reason I just seem to hit Cole Hamels hard. Of the 3 hits I have against him, 2 of them are homers.
And I use the gold birch Rawlings bat.Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
Last 3 starts
Gm1- 7.0 IP, 1 ER, 6 H, 8 SO, 0 BB (lose 1-0)
Gm2- 6.0 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, 5 SO, 0 BB (lose 1-0)
Gm3- 7.0 IP, 1 ER, 5 H, 16 SO, 0 BB (ND, Lose in extras, scored 1st run to tie in 9th)
So I've gotten 0 runs of support in 3 games and the first one was against a pitcher that was 0-6 with a 6.30 ERAFavorite Teams:

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
Through 25 starts
I sit at 6-7 (haven't won since July 9 and its August 19) with a 2.36 ERA. I'm averaging for the season 2.1 Runs of run supports and in the last 8 starts 0.9..... I don't get how that's even possible. Actually got it vs LAD but 5 errors in 2 innings erased it.
I've got my pitcher up to an 82 and I'm the Ace. So I have that going for meFavorite Teams:

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I have a pitcher on the Rockies (was on the A's but got traded) and this is the scenario that keeps playing out for me.
I will be up one run in the 8th, my guy is tired but they run him back out for another inning. I will get an out or 2 but give up a hit or 2. They pull my guy with runners on base, bring in a reliever, the reliever never cleans up the inning and who ever is on base scores and is charged to me. So I either get a ND or the loss because we never come back.
If I am tired and dont have a shut out or no-no on the line, why does the game continue to trot me out there only for the bullpen to blow it and charge me with the loss?Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I am a catcher for the Rangers and was selected with the 3rd or 4th overall pick out of high school. Currently I am still 18 years old and 75 overall with 60+ rating in everything that matters including 65+ in all 4 hitting ratings.
Hopefully I will make the cut at the end of spring training of next yearComment
