    Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread

    I started a RTTS as a 3B, did well in the rookie showcase and was drafted 5th overall by the Astros. I did very well in AA Corpus Christi, as mainly a DH. I played 41 games before getting called up to AAA Frenso in late May. I was the DH for Fresno as well and played well enough to make the Future's game, where I went 3 for 4 with a home run and was named player of the game. I also made the AAA All-Star game. The day after the All-Star game I was called up to the Astros roster and I will start at third base as they sent down Luis Valbuena to AAA. My current overall is a 74 with A potential and am looking forward to trying to help the Astros make a push for the playoffs as they are 7.5 games back of the AL West and 4 games back of the second AL Wild Card spot.

      I made a LF and was drafted by the Mariners. They did a really interesting trade very early in the season. They traded JA Happ to the Jays for Justin Smoak...

      In mid June my first year I received 500 points for no reason. Is this just a little bonus to help out with training or did I hit some milestone and I missed it?

        I haven't adjusted to 15 real well in my RTTS. Through the first two months of the 2019 season (first season on 15) my player is batting .301 and only has 6 HR. That's a far cry from my previous two seasons batting in the. 360's and coming off a 87 HR season.

          In 9 career starts vs San Diego im 7-1 with a 1.13 ERA, 3 of my 5 complete games are vs San Diego (all on the road). And hitting wise when we play at San Diego im .350 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI. I wish we could play them every time.

          Anyways. Finished my 2nd season (2016) at 10-8 with a 2.03 ERA and sure gave the Padres and A's nightmares. Also finished with over 230 strikeouts. Got to pitch the season finale at San Diego, complete
          game shutout, only allowed 4 hits and struck out 12.

          Open 2017 as the #1 starter for Arizona. Got a No Decision vs Colorado then my 2nd start which was at San Diego I got a complete game shut out, only giving 3 hits and setting down 10 on Strikes. So after 2 starts im 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA and 17 K's

          Also I find it funny that my career record is 23-12. At home im 7-8 and on the road im 16-4

                I just pulled a rookie move. I saved my closer over my shortstop. The downfall of having auto save turned off. Now I get to start all over. I think I'm mixing it up & going center fielder this time.

                  In my RTTS I'm a 3rd basemen and at the beginning of June I'm a 65 overall, I was just traded to the Mariners. Should I give up on this RTTS and start another? Can't see how I'll ever get to the majors.

                    Started my first career of the season. I play with the Dynamic Pitching or whatever the one that progresses depending on how you do is. The "Progression" at the end of each game line is where the progression was at at the end of the game.

                    Pitcher: Robert Bolig.
                    Drafted: Colorado Rockies
                    Plays For: New Britain Rock Cats
                    Record: 1-0

                    Game 1: 9 IP, 4 H, 12 K, 0 BB, CG W (Progression: Rookie ++++)
                    Game 2: 8.2 IP, 1 H, 14 K, 1 BB, W (Progression: Veteran +++)

                    I didn't realize I had a "No Hitter" going in the second game. On top of that, I would've been going for a "Perfect Game" because two of the balls on my walk were strikes that weren't called.

                      I keep having an issue with RTTS ill get drafted play 3 or 4 games then I get an error saying application data corrupted. I've redownloaded the game 4 times still hasn't fixed it. Anyone else have this issue? I have no other issue in any other mode so I don't see how it can be corrupted. It's only with RTTS.

                        Thought that I was wrapping up the first season. I was in Triple A with about 5 games left in the season.

                        I had spent several weeks with the Cardinals and been sent back down to triple A and was actually looking forward to wrapping up the season last night. But the Cardinals called me back up so I have another month to go.

                        I am not sure in the last few years that I have ever played in a AA or AAA all-star game or playoff. I always seem to be promoted about a week shy of that actually happening.

                          I am so tired of being the DH. My fielding is 20 points higher than anybody else in the minors, 10 points above my hitting and at the end of the year I have played my position 3 times. Every other game I am the DH and they wont trade me either. This is getting real old.

                          This is my 3rd RTTS player and it is the same every time I play. I have tried SS. 3B and now CF and all I do is DH.

                            Hit my first in-the-park home run off the Green Monster last night. Came off the wall and the CF bobbled it off the bounce. I was half way to third by the time he started throwing it in. It was actually my first home run at the MLB level, but I never got the credit for being my first HR. Neither the training points, the graphic or the announcers making a reference to the fact that it was my first.

                            I have a low power rating, so we'll see how long it takes and if I get credit if I hit it over the fence.

                              That's shocking. I have a SS going, and other than a day off to rest every 4-5 games, which occasionally I pinch hit in, I have otherwise been the full time starter in Double A and now Triple A. I'm surprised they even made it possible to let the CPU assign a RTTS player to the DH role.
