Swang through a strike with Crawford and he lost grip of the bat and it went flying into the crowd. Really cool.

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
I grooved a fastball to Nelson Cruz and he gave it a ride, did the bat flip, started his trot to first only to see it end up foul. He bent all the way over at the waist shaking his head before going back to the plate with his tail between his legs and I struck him out on the next pitch. Pretty cool to see the batter think it was gone and be wrong.
Also playing as the Yankees in Fenway and hearing the crowd heckle with a Boston accent is pretty sweet.Last edited by corpkid12; 04-01-2015, 09:53 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
I know it's not new to this year but: hit my first RTTS HR (double A). Stat showed it was my first career shot. But the cool part is coming into the dugout and all your teammates ignore you giving you the cold shoulder for a bit. Then they all mob you with congrats. Pretty cool.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
This year they finally added live AL East standings on the Green Monster scoreboard at Fenway in your franchise and season modes. It always used to stay the same no matter what time of year (usually with the Sox in last). Always was something that bothered me. Thank you SCEA San Diego for the fix!Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Cool little fun thing I didn't notice in last years game, is the authentic Pedro Alvarez Homer reaction. Before it seemed generic, this year was legit.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
I posted this yesterday but I kind of got lost on page 4 of the boards. During the 2nd inning the field momentarily was in the shadow of a cloud. I thought that was a cool little addition to the game.

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
If you notice on the jumbotrons in certain stadiums, it will show random stats for the player at his first at bat. I was playing my franchise yesterday and the stat said, Leads his team in HR with 8. It only does it for the players first at bat though. Anytime at that, it shows his stat line for the game. Thats dope.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
There is a logo in the off-season schedule to mark the start of the Winter Meetings. Pretty cool touch, and I waited to make some off-season trades until that week started, haha.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
In my transferred Franchise (which is awesome they did this), Kipnis hit a hard grounder to Alexi Casilla. Casilla went down to a knee to stop it. The ball took a bad hop and hit Casilla in the chest. He picked it up and fired to first for the out. It looked so realistic. The knew going to a knee animation is legit.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread
I'm playing a game Astros vs. Rays.
Evan Longoria is at the plate and he drives a ball into the left field short porch at Minute Maid, and the ball is ever-so-close to the foul pole. Umpires have a conference and animatedly discuss the play. They then go to replay, which shows that the ball indeed hooked foul. Ump waves off the home run and the at-bat resumes.
AMAZING.Comment

AMAZING.
The next half inning the exact same thing happened to me, but on the defensive side. The runner was safe, I challenged and lost it!
Definitely a cool addition!Comment
