Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread

Saw a new catch animation i hadn't seen in past years.

A pop up going foul near the 1st base ump, i must have moved the 1b fielder a bit under the ball and he had to take a quick step back and as he caught it he fell back doing a small backwards roll.

Also had a game at CBP i think it was, where for about a innings or so it was hard to see the ball as it came from the sun into the shadows. Then the lights came on and eliminated the shadows making it easier to see the ball even though the outfield was still in the sun.

Blimp Cam,cool, but why don't we see this stuff more often.

Just like that press box replay i saw in a stream once, have replicated a similar situation a few times and not seen it.

Late in the game saw a osd showing who i had on the bench for PH,don't think i have seen that in past games.

I am surprised no one has said any thing about this but in years past if you did a mid game save you would lose the up to date info on the pitching batting screen thing that shows like what pitches the pitcher throws on like first pitches, ahead of the count ect. Now with the resume feature you don't. That is a big small thing to me as I use it a lot to try to adjust to how I am pitching and how the CPU is pitching to.

Playing as the A's at KC today, Lawrie hit one into the home bullpen. The bullpen benches are at the back of the bullpen. The ball landed in the middle of the pen and in the replay you can see one of the Royal relievers, seated on the bench moving to the side to dodge the bounce coming at him.

I was playing as the Mets against the Nationals, and in the pre-game cutscene, Ruben Tejada & Juan Lagares were talking on the field with the Nat's Matt den Dekker before Lagares playfully shoved him away. Loved the idea of a guy catching up with his former teammates before the game.

Was just going to post about this. I hit a foul ball grounder and all the guys sitting on the bullpen bench which is in foul territory lifted their legs as the ball rolled by.

Played a game against the Angels last night and after the game the PA Announcer was recapping the scoreline...

"The Angels had 2 runs, 8 hits, no errors and left an insane amount of runners on base."
"The older I get, the faster I was!"

This is my first year having the show so please forgive me.

                    - if youre pitching and dont pause but walk away the umps and players get restless and do comical things, ex the ump will inspect the bat and take practice cuts.

                    - how guys duck when a foul hits the dugout screen.

                    - all the fielding animations

                    - being able to take 8 warm up pitches to get a feel.

                    - the attention paid to product licenses and having the real on field accessories. The only thing jd like to see it build outs for home/away uniform colors.

                    - the fair trade proposal feature is cool/helpful.

                    - really good check swings. I feeL like i have control (classic/meter/buttons)

One wish would be to upload my own music for walk up/pitchers

Bottom of the 8th I'm down 5-2 against the Astros. 8 hits vs my 3 Scribner on the mound I decide to bean Villar after he hit a previous HR off me. I walk him with a headshot that missed and the ball flies to the backstop the umpire warns both benches...Springer steps up and hits the next pitch into the Minute maid arches 7-2 lesson learned. Amazing.

                      Game log.
Astros batting. Carter filed out to Ross (F7). Gattis flied out to Ross (F7). Villar walked. Springer homered to left. Villar scores.

The slight alteration to the "medium" offense camera meaning it shows you the ball/hit direction for a bit before switching to the medium cam.

George Brett has a bunch of pine tar on his bat.

This might not be new but I noticed my baserunner from third base slowly jog home on a stand up double. I think he also was turned watching the hit. Pretty cool.
