Thats what that means. I was gonna ask that in this thread. I use them for my franchise...

Was playing RTTS & I hit a line drive that hit the ground & caught the pitcher right in his drive leg. I expected him to just shrug it off & throw me out. But when it hit him, he made a hop motion & turned his back to home plate. Ball was literally 2 feet from him but he sold the injury & I was safe at first. He was hopping off the field on his own & keeping pressure off the leg.

Maybe this has been in for a while but I'd never seen it; a relief pitcher coming into the game drops his glove just as he gets to the mound and has to step back to pick it up. Cracked me up.

Yeah, that one has been in the game forever.

Ugh, that has been in the game for a long time. As have most of these "little things". Almost so much that I hardly bother to keep-up with this thread.

I am glad they don't take most of it out, but was expecting way more stuff with the jump to next gen last year. I must say though, the dropping the glove got old fast. How many pitchers drop their gloves coming into a game? In this game it is about 1/3 of the time. At least give us so new camera angles for these cut scenes!

Its bound to have been mentioned but ill post it as it is a great addition imo. Pitchers punching the air and celebrating in a smooth animation when you get that key strike out - its like they let out the emotion you do, in the game for you

First year playing the game with head phones and WOW. I never noticed how many crowd jeers you get when you're the visiting team haha. I don't know how the pros do it.

I know it's not a "little thing", but the lighting and the stadiums just blow me away. I mean Holy hell, they are literally a thing of beauty.

The jerseys look AMAZING, and the improved skin tones really look great in the new lighting. It's really mind blowing how great everything looks.

I just wish this was consistent. I've had times where this happens but I've had just as many instances where completely ridiculous situations happen. Eg. Dickey got absolutely drilled with a line drive square in his face and he still darted across the field picked up the ball and easily threw the runner out. Didn't have to come out of the game or anything.
Funny thing happened 3 games later. Lazy fly ball to left field and Michael Saunders settled under it. Ball went right by his waiting glove and bonked him on the top of the head. Out 6 weeks with a concussion.

Just hit a monster flyball to the warning track and a giant puff of dirt exploded off the ground that I could see from homeplate(playing HRD)...
It just put a huge smile on my face, love these little things!

Playing today's game on my Braves' franchise & it pops up mentioning Hammerin' Hank breaking the home run record against Al Downing.

My dad still confuses my The Show games for real world MLB action on the living room t.v. whenever I bring my ps4 over to show him the game each and every year. He could be exaggerating but the game really retains it's beauty every single time I load it up
