I played two games so far and it been lagging. Now granted it was on release day haven't try it since. Maybe I try again. Don't know if this was in it last year but I like how u can concede at anytime

Played two games against a friend today and I had no issues. No lag when hitting or pitching, which is a big change from when I got the game last year. I also managed to get up 10 runs in the 4th inning and had the mercy rule called. First time that I've seen that lol.

Is this automatic? If so, that's pretty lame. Some people can and will come back from that. Not saying that's always possible, but if its an auto-stop, that's fony.

Honestly, after all these years, I'm sick of all these high strike that people keep abusing online. MLB The Show needs to lower the strike zone. When you catch a high called strike on replay, and then remember a pitch (which was probably called a ball) in real life, its NOT A STRIKE. They needa fix that!! Cuz all people rely on online is getting a 95-100mph pitcher and throw 2 pitches all game: high fastballs and low offspeed pitches. Fix it MLB!!!

I guess it's automatic. As soon as the 4th inning was over that popped up. It was an unranked game, maybe it's different for ranked. I don't know.

I have punished many people trying to use that as their out pitch. It has become predictable and if you plan for it you can make them pay. Once they see you can handle it they will tone it down.

Thus far my online experience has been great. As a matter of fact, it's the best launch week in the MLB The Show franchise thus far.

There are a few visual glitches that remain from last year's version of the game but overall it has been smooth sailing with very little to virtually no lag to report.

I have punished many people trying to use that as their out pitch. It has become predictable and if you plan for it you can make them pay. Once they see you can handle it they will tone it down.

If you can't hit the high fastball, then that's on you, not them.

Experience has been much better than last year. Its not flawless but a major stride.

The actual online play is better than last year. My issue is with the servers.

Successfully played two games, one won and one lost, and they are recorded. However, two games in Diamond Dynasty since then were not recorded.

One I was losing and we finished the game. When I got back to the menu it said I couldn't connect to the servers and that game is lost forever. I think I got caught in 3AM maintenance that I didn't know about (just got the message right now lol).

I played extra innings in Diamond Dynasty just now and it told me that my game would be put into a queue for processing, and that if it was a friendly quit, it would be discarded.

I can only connect to DD about 25% of the time...keep getting the "server error" message. Gameplay is a major stride forward (based on the 12 or so games I was actually able to play) but now the problem is actually getting a game started. It's always something....

I have experienced minor lag on the offensive side of the ball but none on the defensive side. Played 1 full Diamond Dynasty Game so far this year and enjoyed it however.

2 of my 3 games so far have frozen after drawing a walk. Aside from that major flaw, the gameplay has been fine.
