Yea I think Meadows is asking to much now that I look at it closer. The 57 overall is mainly why I thought it may be plausible. I'll switch my focus to landing a mid tier starter from Pittsburgh or look for some other prospects around the league.

I was supposed to be involved in Hybrid/Spreadsheet stuff this year but no one messaged me, lol. Not really surprised. If someone takes a shot at it I'm always available for consultation"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
So in the first month of my Dodgers Franchise I was messing with the trade finder and I stumbled across a dream come true.. Keep in mind I updated every teams contracts before my season so Andre Either is making 17 million a year and the Phillies just agreed to this trade...

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
No way Philly does this trade!!! They have been asking for outrageous prices and you would have to part with at least one of the top 3 prospects for him. Being Pederson, Seager, Urias. The Phillies haven't budged from that with any team or he would have already been traded, IMO.So in the first month of my Dodgers Franchise I was messing with the trade finder and I stumbled across a dream come true.. Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Going to start a franchise with the Nats and I'll be looking to unload Jordan Zimmermann and Strasburg (For future contract reasons). I figure I can get a bigger haul out of Stras because of his remaining years. Looking to build for the future when Span, Escobar and Werth are gone so Id like to upgrade the OF and 2b. Any suggestions? The Strasburg trade will probably come after my 1st season if that helps any.Last edited by NothingTrivial; 04-05-2015, 11:13 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Blue Jays would deal Sanchez and Nay/Smith Jr for Zimmerman, and the Red Sox are a good look for Strasburg. Cubs are a good idea for both.Going to start a franchise with the Nats and I'll be looking to unload Jordan Zimmermann and Strasburg (For future contract reasons). Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I would go something like Stras for Betts + a couple of lower prospects like Travis Shaw and Bryce Brentz. So prospects between 15 and 30.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Betts is off limits. He's a special talent.
You could probably do something like Swihart+Coyle/Ball/Marrero (depending on what the OP needs). Or even Owens+Coyle/Ball/Marrero+a high C spectRed Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I know Betts is a special talent. But with the Moncada signing I don't really think he is untouchable as he was prior to the signing.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
If anything, after this spring, Mookie is more "untouchable" than ever. Moncada really has nothing to do with it, as Mookie is pretty much an outfielder now. Mookie was able to beat a $76 million man, and a former starter for his spot in the outfield. PLUS Sox brass is already talking about extending him. I would only trade him under special circumstances.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!
