I would say he is worth a high B/low A. I mean Devers seems like he could be a good prospect but he is also far away, I think he is only like 18 or 19. I don't know Corcino. And Yonder is a decent 1B but not great. I mean it's hard to come up with something because I don't know what holes need to be filled on Gatto's team or what other pieces you have. Sorry I couldn't help that much.

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
As a fellow Red Sox fan, i don't see the sox moving Manuel Margot for a guy like Cain in his stage of his career. Only way i see them moving him is for a guy like HamelsComment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
What's the difference between the 2? Both are on the wrong side of 30, & signed to long term contract that are under market value. And both have playoff experience. Cain is 30 and Hamels is 31.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Hamels is better and he's also more durable. Cain is a big injury risk and his last full season was 1.7 fWAR with a 3.93 FIP. Hamels' last season was 4.2 fWAR and a 3.07 FIP. Hamels also has about 8 more fWAR over his career despite debuting the year after Cain did.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Gallo, not so much. Would have to be a stud like Stanton in return.
Herrera, absolutely. I'm sure he's available in talks and they've been trying him out in CF some to test his versatility besides MIFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
What would the Cubs have to give up to get Dom brown. ...Coghlan is struggling abs I need another left handed hitter. .if not him who would be a good fit

Something along the line of Arismendy Alcantara and a B Level prospect should get it done, maybe even a C level prospectComment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I actually got to see Devers play this year in Greenville (Single-A) and the dude is absolutely raking, hitting around .340 with a few dingers and he is a doubles machine. Seems like he will be a perfect fit for Fenway in a few years, i would say he is at least 2 and half years out.I would say he is worth a high B/low A. What do you guys think about this trade (I'm the Nationals)
C Wilson Ramos, and 2 B level prospects to KC for C Salvador Perez and a C level prospect?Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Why would Philly trade you an outfielder for another outfielder who is more expensive? You should look at what they need and CF is least of Philly's worries since either Odubel Herrera or Ben Revere can play there.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment
