He's hitting about .220 with 22 home runs at the all star break in AAA. They'll take Yonder Alonso, Rafael Devers, and Daniel Corcino. Two B potential prospects and one MLB player who is left handed. Yonder is hitting about .250 in limited at bats, but that's steadily rising.

Is he worth an A? Or is that fair value.
I would say he is worth a high B/low A. I mean Devers seems like he could be a good prospect but he is also far away, I think he is only like 18 or 19. I don't know Corcino. And Yonder is a decent 1B but not great. I mean it's hard to come up with something because I don't know what holes need to be filled on Gatto's team or what other pieces you have. Sorry I couldn't help that much.

As a fellow Red Sox fan, i don't see the sox moving Manuel Margot for a guy like Cain in his stage of his career. Only way i see them moving him is for a guy like Hamels

I would say at least 2 B Level prospects with a third prospect C level or lower

What's the difference between the 2? Both are on the wrong side of 30, & signed to long term contract that are under market value. And both have playoff experience. Cain is 30 and Hamels is 31.

Hamels is better and he's also more durable. Cain is a big injury risk and his last full season was 1.7 fWAR with a 3.93 FIP. Hamels' last season was 4.2 fWAR and a 3.07 FIP. Hamels also has about 8 more fWAR over his career despite debuting the year after Cain did.

Any realistic way the Rangers give up Gallo or the Rockies give up Herrera?

Gallo, not so much. Would have to be a stud like Stanton in return.

Herrera, absolutely. I'm sure he's available in talks and they've been trying him out in CF some to test his versatility besides MI

What would the Cubs have to give up to get Dom brown. ...Coghlan is struggling abs I need another left handed hitter. .if not him who would be a good fit

Something along the line of Arismendy Alcantara and a B Level prospect should get it done, maybe even a C level prospect

I actually got to see Devers play this year in Greenville (Single-A) and the dude is absolutely raking, hitting around .340 with a few dingers and he is a doubles machine. Seems like he will be a perfect fit for Fenway in a few years, i would say he is at least 2 and half years out.

What do you guys think about this trade (I'm the Nationals)

C Wilson Ramos, and 2 B level prospects to KC for C Salvador Perez and a C level prospect?

Why would Philly trade you an outfielder for another outfielder who is more expensive? You should look at what they need and CF is least of Philly's worries since either Odubel Herrera or Ben Revere can play there.
