        But enough is enough.

I have been playing The Show since 2006.

The commentary is in need of an overhaul.

I think it would feel so much fresher if there was a new narrator.
Me either but without any SOTS its really sticking out this year like a sore thumb and its not even the dialog as they have depth its just blah already .

I would have 4 voice talents for north south east and west styles of speaking with a midwest feel , East coast style ect .

Also its not that its bad but just like other things in this game its run its course and its old already .
Finally Roster share in NHL 22 ! Dreams do come true ! To Garryowen and Glory boys !

I really wish we could get Jon Miller to do this game!! Besides the fact that he's a great announcer, more importantly in terms of the show, and a video game, he's a great voice actor! The latter part is what Matt V lacks, and it really shows. Guys like Miller, Indians radio Hamallton, Yanks Sterling, are all great voice actors. In other words, those guys would sound exactly the same in a video game as they do in real life, Matt doesn't.
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

Yea, enough is enough already. I think there is a reason why they haven't changed. I remember reading a few years ago that Matt Vs' contract to do the voice for MLBTS is a long-term deal but I could be wrong. The game is great but the announcing is beyond stale now. We've been asking for new blood for years and it has been ignored. Also, I thought SOTS was going to make it this year and I think it never will...too bad.

Every year, always turn it off, I prefer just the ballpark atmosphere, too bad no sounds of the show.

Couldn't agree more, been playing since 06 and it makes the game incredibly stale. I still hear lines that are at least 5 years old! There's no flow and lack of stats; Late in the game when I send a pinch hitter in the ninth to face a big time closer I wanna hear the guys talk about so and so's career numbers against that closer, have a legit conversation. Type in: "The show with 2k commentary" on youtube and see the huge difference it makes. If it doesn't vastly improve next year I'm not purchasing. Matt V has got to go.

I downloaded Spotify, and set up the connection to allow my phone to control it. I then turned off the Show soundtrack, turned the voices down and have my own personal soundtrack running while I play. I just changes songs around using my phone.

Re: Anyone else playing with the commentary off?

No, as repetitive as it is i still prefer it on.The giants/royals install game confirmed it for me.

I find nba2ks commentary more annoying and repetitive, hearing the same story's about every player on my team in every game, great for exhibition game but gets old in a franchise.

Never been a fan of commentary in baseball tbh. And it is why they have more important things to do IMO, because trying to make this as sim as possible from the batter and pitcher views does not include commentary. I know many love this stuff so there ya go I hope they improve it for you. I just don't care.

I want all the situational and ambient audio improved first and foremost.

The hell lol, I live in MN, where NBA been dead for years, and honestly this is the best season, well Spurs beating Heat was also great, that the NBA has seen in some time lol.

I still can't believe they have the same stale commentary since I have bought it every year since 08. This, along with the removal of pure analog hitting has made me decide not to buy 15 at all. They are in desperate need of a new voice IMO. Man, how great would Vin Scully be? One can dream.
