I enjoy the commentary but want it improved. NBA2k is the bar.

Hell I just find myself saying "Starter turned realever turned starter again." Referring to the days when Jaba was a Yankee.

Or "Burnett pitching like the Burnett of old". Referring to AJ Burnett when he was a Yankee.

I think everyone has done quite enough complaining about the commentary. Im not a fan myself, but ill make it work. Im about 99% sure that the commentary next year will be a complete 180 from this year just based on the complaints from last year and the number of complaints already this year....just find a way to make it work people

I did that a couple weeks ago and in the live game there was a man on first but in my game there wasn't. In my game there was a groundball to the SS and I threw it to 2nd to start the twin killing. Guess what happened? lol So apparently I can't listen to a live game and play a video game of the same sport.

Smallville, I couldn't disagree more, I've heard many baseball games over the years that had great, and good emotion commentary. Jon Miller from 2k4 to 2k8 was great, All-star baseball was pretty good, wsb 2k3, mlb slugfest, and that's just off the top of my head.

The commentary is better then madden and even though NBA 2k has better commentary then this game it is very repetitive to.

Its sad that I kinda feel this way as well ( But then I noticed you are from Seattle) but on topic...I noticed some new lines but it is time for something new at this time.

Im from Seattle also and I feel that the NBA is the best sport in America. Sarcasm on. Lol

But enough is enough.



I have been playing The Show since 2006.



The commentary is in need of an overhaul.



I think it would feel so much fresher if there was a new narrator.

I've been saying this for the last 3 years. Matt is too boring and almost sounds monotone. This is the biggest problem I have with the show. The announcers are super boring and bring no excitement at all. Every year we ask yet they still won't change these guys. Please SCEA change these guys already.

Im finding a nice balance in muting Lyons and Karros and just keeping Vasgersian on.

That way you get the Play by Play but can enjoy the sounds of the ballpark and nice ambience instead of the terrible tones of the terrible twosome.

To me Vasgersian is the first one that needs to go. Tired of hearing him for so many years now and he sounds almost monotone.

There was one year when I played one of the NHL games and I turned off the commentary and did my own play-by-play while I played the game. It was a challenge.....and a little disturbing now that I think of it.

I used to love the commentary on the old All-Star baseball games when it was Thom Brennaman and Steve Lyons.
