I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.

4 games left in the regular season..ive played them all..using quick count to get the damn regular season overwith..Got the Rays in the Wild Card spot..the Angles are in the 2nd spot, with the Royals 2 games behind.

I have one game with the Marlins then a series with the blue jays to wrap it up

2-2 with 14 runs for and 14 runs against. I'll take it. Gotta get this next one.
Little update here: we're 3-14 now.

        Yeeesh.

I'm about to start the 2017 season in my Cubs franchise. You can follow along by clicking the link in my signature. We won the NL Central but were swept by the Nationals in the 2015 NLDS, then finished as the #1 Wild Card, beat the Brewers in the play-in game, then came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Cardinals in the NLDS. We were then swept again by the Nationals, in the NLCS.

I've made a few trades (acquired Corey Dickerson, Matt Moore, and Huston Street in 2016, and Sonny Gray for the start of the 2017 season), but the core of the team is still there and I'm working to replenish the farm system.

I drafted my team. I'm just having a hard time not playing the AAA and AA games with my MLB team too lol. Julio Urias and Jose Berrios I pitch those minor league games. Get a lead and sim the batting.

I'm on May 18th of my 2 team franchise. Indians are 21-15 and the Braves are 13-24. Idk how the Indians are doing so well and the Braves are doing so bad. They look totally opposite when playing. For the Indians, I just can't get big hits with my power hitters and the pitching staff just isn't as strong as the RL Indians were. For the poor braves, the injuries and trying to find that right rotation and batting order is proving to be a challenge. All in all, it's a lot of fun playing both teams and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Between now and April I'm going to grind all I can and will more then likely carry this over.

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Finished the '15 season playing all 162!!! This is a 2-year streak for me after running a Cubs chise on MLBTS '14 into year 3.

As the Marlins, we really struggled to the tune of a 65-97 record (they were 71-91 IRL I believe this year). In essence, I had a league average pitching staff (8.9 fWAR) and a near replacement level offense (4.8 fWAR). Adding the WAR to the 47-win projection for all replacement-level players gets me to 61-101 so I outplayed that a bit with my defense (league average) and bullpen (I made acquiring power arms a priority).

My pitching MVP was Henderson Alvarez, who made all of his scheduled starts (211 IP) and posted a 2.82 ERA with 177 Ks against 58 BBs. My batting MVP was Dee Gordon, who placed 4th in the NL in batting average (.313), led the team with 5.1 fWAR, stole a MLB-leading 75 bases, and was named All Star, Silver Slugger, and 3rd in the GG race at 2B. I even moved him to CF at times. Suffice it to say that, unless Jeff Loria messes things up, Gordon will be in South Beach for a while.

Headed into year 2, really need an overhaul on the offensive side of things to complement Stanton and Gordon. I'm pretty happy with the pitching (could use a guy to slot in #2), but need continued growth from J. Fernandez (who ended an otherwise decent partial season with some brutal starts in September) and a very young bullpen.
