I hear what you guys are saying...if I saw the ps4 graphics I could never go back. Ignorance is bliss and I am finding the PS3 version pretty stellar from a graphics standpoint. I think they did a brilliant job with blurring some of the background details and giving quality visuals where it counts.
This thread is about presentation though and not graphics.

Again, a toggling option for this would be nice, but as a "purist" I think they make a progression in this one aspect.
Yes, but that has never ever been the root of the issue about foul balls in recent versions. The issue, is after fouling you automatically are put right into the next pitch 1.2 seconds later over 90% of the time. That's just dreadful for me, if I'm playing serious ballgames, I have to regularly, manually pause/freeze the game to cope with that.

Oh, you're talking about it jumping right back to the action and not the camera cutaway itself, I see what you mean. So like even if it did another shot of the batter or pitcher between the foul ball and played out in real time? I totally understand what you mean, then. It was my mistake for misinterpreting it, and if we're talking about that then I agree with you.

I think options are good and this game needs as much presentation as possible and Im so happy they are bringing back Highlight reel in the 2nd patch

Pump the brakes....Ramone said they were going to try to get it back in. FWIW, I can't remember the last time a Show patch required a graphical user interface change, and unless the reel just plays automatically for us after a game (which would be fine with me, actually - especially since we can just record it through the PS4), that's what it will take to get it onto the post-game screen.

Obviously I hope they fix it for the patch, but can we at least wait for patch notes or a more certain dev post before claiming this as fact?
