Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
I transferred a Franchise over that I had no intentions of continuing just to see how it worked. I played a few innings of a game and nobody had the name brand equipment. It was as if I was playing MLB 14. My RTTS didn't have this issue however.Comment

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
When you say "start over" are you referring to the entire franchise or start over the import of the YTY save? I would really hate to start over the entire franchise since I finally got Wright into the HOF with over 400 HR's (won't happen in real life unfortunately) and kind of defeats the purpose of the YTY.Comment

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Not a bug, that I know of, but has anyone seen a manager's challenge in their carryover saves?
I'm 20 games into the 2016 season of my YTY save and have had several very very close plays at first base but I haven't had any opportunities to challenge the play.Comment

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Nice. I'm just confused this year. I don't understand how some got approved and other did not considering their situation was the same. Oh well Willard did a a hell of a job with the Dodgers I needed CAPS for such as Beachy, Gaudin, Aardsma, Horst etc....... So I'm not too worried about it. Motown has been killing it with CAPS as well and SCEA might use those in roster updates so it's all good.Comment

Yeah, it would be great if SDS used some of the CAPs he's been doing. Seem like a logical choice IMO.

I think the workaround is to make sure that game is simmed.
I don't think you'll need to start everything over, just make sure you sim the first game of your current year.
Do a search over in the PS3 Forums. Just type Opening Day bug and you'll see it being discussed every year that I can remember.Comment

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Another Y2Y "bug":
Continued an RTTS that was in November of 2014, after season was over and starting the offseason before the 2015 season.
When simming ahead to the 2015 All-Star game, the game was at Petco Park and not GABP. This was for both the HR Derby and AS Game.
I started over, and the same thing happened.Comment

I also got an email afterwards congratulating me on winning the derby, even though I only hit 1 and wasn't even in the final.Comment
