I know a lot of you guys are considering the Cubs for a franchise..

BUT don't you think it'll be too easy with them down the road, seeing how loaded with mlb ready talent are??

I think the cubbies franchise difficulty would depend on how long you intend to play. If your a person who plays most if not all games then no, it could be a real challenge given you will be waiting a while on the talent to come up. If your someone who only plays maybe 20 games then it may be a bit easy.

Personally I cannot find a team.... I am trying to find the team with literally nothing at any level. With the option to carry over franchises I plan to be playing it a while..... Seriously finding this rather hard lol. The NL teams seem stacked one way or another but I cannot find someone that fits my desire to play some money ball.

Think its always the most fun to use your hometown team no matter how the team looks. Build them up into a beast team and dominate the league feels great with your favorite team.

Not a chance. That's the worst team lol. I already watch 81 games there, I don't think I could play there that many or more lol.

Try and find out what it was that made you lose interest in that particular organization to make sure that you won't feel the same thing about the next one you pick to roll with

I think most guys are waiting for Willards OSFM Hybrid or OSFM v2 to drop before starting their franchises

I often feel that way after a few weeks of the regular season. For me, I know it's just a matter of getting through that lull and keep going. The farther I get into it, the more I start to enjoy it again. It helps once you've accumulate some real stats, once you can start evaluating your prospects, and once you're getting close to the draft or the trade deadline. I just acknowledge that I may have to grind through the first month or two, but the payoff is generally worth it.

So like everyone else, I'm in the same boat on teams. I want to be in the NL and was going with the Buccos, because the HR counter in right field, BUT I quit that and played a Live game in Philly on Legend Defualt Difficulty. It was very competitive gameplay. Now I like the way Philly's ballpark looks with the Giant bell and just the stadium in general as you look around... Know I'm at a road block as to who I want... Pirates or cross state rival Philles!!

The most exciting team to me would probably be the Cubs. But I'll do my franchise with the Marlins. Jose Fernandez gets healthy. He's my ace! Stanton and Ozuna with the pop. And Yelich is a good contact hitter. Adeiny Hechavvaria(SP?) is a good defensive SS. Wanna trade for Patrick Corbin. Was watching a stream and he seemed easy to get.

The stats projections with which they build the ratings against and pitch edits generate a much more simulation-style baseball season.
